It’s the big Halloween Day- Craig and I drove to our Draper home late Tuesday night after his bishopric meeting. Glenda Siggard died and Craig wanted to attend the funeral early Wednesday morning 10am. It was better we drive down at night than early morning. She was 88 years old. A good friend to Craig’s family growing up. She was the fun mom of the neighborhood. It was a delight to see my dear husband connect with friends from his childhood growing up. He saw his scouting leader and primary teacher, they both are in their 90’s. Friends he grew up with- we are all getting older and gray hair. Kip Siggard was one of his best friends, Glenda was his mother. Mike Farley is a cousin to Kip and another best friend growing up. It was a happy occasion to be reunited with the friends he had not seen in many years. I always enjoy attending funerals and getting to know more about the life they lived. It is fun to see what memories the family highlights about their passed love ones. After the funeral we had lunch at Panda. It is fun to be in town and enjoy the city life. I had to come home and take a nap I was really tired. I had a very busy day the day before. I woke up at 3:30 am and couldn’t sleep. I stayed up the entire day going to bed at midnight so I’m sure this is why I’m feeling extra tired. We had fun playing pickle ball early Tuesday morning. We drove 30 minutes in a blizzard to Montpellier where we play. We had a fun time. I really do enjoy playing with my hubby. Today we can go to the sports Mall and play with a group there too when we are in town. It is fun to play there as well. We're going to have a busy day with the Halloween events making the rounds seeing our grandkids. Last night we drove downtown to have dinner with Mike and Jody Farley at Fleming’s . It is a very expensive place to eat they wanted to treat us for all Craig has done to up them with their insurance. So nice of them and so fun to visit with them they have been life long friends . We want to plan a trip with them. Since Mike retired two years ago they have spent a lot of time traveling. We talked about going on a trip with them in the near future. I have got to study some today in preparing to teach gospel doctrine this Sunday. Excited to see our grandkids dressed up in their costumes today. We went to Tasha’s home and worked from 10:30 am till 4pm putting together a desk she had ordered online. It was a pain in the butt putting together it took us 5 hours working on it. Finally we got it down !!!
Our cute Thomas grandkids.
Our Annie girl so darling!
