Baby Anniston 5 Weeks Old Today

She is so beautiful!!

Austin Noriega 9th Birthday

August 17th, we celebrated Austin's 9th birthday.  He is such a very special boy in our family.  Sharlena invited us over for dinner to celebrate his special day.  I asked what Austin would like for his birthday and Shar told me he would just love money.  That makes it easy for us.  We had a very nice time visiting with them.

Stacy had a doctors appointment this morning,  I slept in so Craig baby sat the the boys came and stayed with them until I got here, dead tired from our busy weekend.  Stacy's little girl is due October 10th.  We are excited to start working on her baby room.  We planed to go shopping today to see what we can find for a baby bed layette.  The boys are so cute!  Stacy is going to have her hands full with three little one!!  I remember how hard it was when I had three little ones!!

So Glad Baby Anniston Is Feeling Better

Baby Aniston came home from the hospital on Friday so glad she is feeling better.  She gave us all a good scare.  She came down with a very high fever.  Tasha took her to Primary Children's hospital.  She stayed the entire week in ICU.  They never did figure out what she had all they could come up with was a bad virus of some kind.  Her little heart was racing at 230 beat which is life threatening and she had a very high fever.  She was in the cardiac ICU for several day.  Tasha had an emotional break down with her baby girl in ICU.  I held her for many hours in the hospital so Tasha could get some rest.  She is doing better now and home in her own bed.  She is such a beautiful baby girl.  We stopped by on our way to Noriega's to visit the Thomas family.  I got to feed baby Aniston and hold her for over an hour and change her little diaper,
She is so precious, I love Babies!!

Tristain Spinks Missionary Farewell

We drove to St George Early Saturday morning to spend time with the Spinks family, Craig's oldest sister and all their family.  Triston is their 2nd oldest grandson and the first to serve a mission in the Spinks family. Terry Spink's family is from West Virginia, his mother was a convert and came on a greyhound bus to Utah to raise her two small  boys in the church.  Now they have one of their grandsons serving a Mission to West Virginia.  My family on my mother's side is all from West Virginia.  I have spend over 30 years working in Nicholas county West Virginia vital records for my ancestors.   I'm so excited to give Triston addresses of cousins living in Charleston to teach the gospel too!!   I have been wanting to send the missionaries, now I have a nephew that is serving a mission in Charleston,West Virginia.  This is so exciting!!

Drama With My Mother Again!!

Mother called me on Tuesday begging for $15,000 to send to Dubai Egypt for the 4 million she thinks she is going to  inherit, it is crazy !! She is still communicating with men international that are taking her money for over a year now.  She has become very mean to all of  us kids if we don't agree with her.  She thought she was going to sell the house she is now in and that has been another drama case.  Tommy never signed the contract so she does not own the home, so she has no legal rights to sell the home, it still belongs to Tommy.  We feel she should not sell the home because she will run thru her money from the sell of the home.  This internet darting scam has taken over her life.   We found out this week she has closed out all her investments.  She does not want any of the family to know what she has done with her money.  She is out of Control!!  I made some calls today to try to find out what we can do to stop this some how!!  Looks like we are going to have file for legal guardianship.  I learned today there is a report that has been made from the senior social services by someone in the community concerned about her taking large sums of money from her account and sending the money international.  We know she is hiding what she has left and asking us for money.  Mother is very unstable right now!!

Craig Is Out Of Town

Wednesday August 13th I took Craig to the airport yesterday after we stopped to visit Tasha and the baby Anniston at the Hospital.  He will be gone till Friday.  He called me last night to let me know he is not feeling well and coming down with a cold.  It is not fun to be out of town and be sick.  I feel bad for him.

Grandpa Symes with all our darling grandkids on his birthday

Sunday August 10th we celebrated Craig's 59th Birfhday, good bye to the 50's decade only one year left!  We had a very nice day.  We went to church with our 4  Chaudhry boys.  It was nice to have them all dressed and ready to go. First time in months to have all 4 attend with us since their ward split in April.  This has been a hard change for them.  After church we went to the Burbidge family for a family party to celebrate Crarg's birthday.  It was really nice for Trisha to organize a family gathering after all the stress with trying to get them together for any family event Trisha hosting the party.  Took a lot of stress off us as parents under the current circumstances.  Fun to get all our family together!!

Baby Anniston in ICU

Monday August 11th ,  Tasha had to take baby Anniston to Primary Children's hospital she has had a very high fever and her heart rate very high.  They had to rush her in to the cardiac ICU on Tuesday afternoon. She was doing much better last night and thought they would be coming home today.  I have my hands full right now baby sitting Tasha's 2 boy and Stacy's 2 boys today.  The baby is not coming home today she has had a relapse and her fever is back up real high, they still don't know what she has?  Stacy is all stressed with caring for her two little boys with Chad out of town for the past three weeks.  The day in and day out all alone has taken its toll on her emotionally.  So I offer to watch her boys today so she could have a break.  I have my hands full!

It's Friday

I made another trip out to Shannon's to help clean and sort.  I finally got the basement family room clean and the downstairs bath room.  It was really dirty and had not been clean for a long time.  We were able to get the upstairs bedroom cleared out and all of Shannon's office stuff moved into the downstairs office.  It is slowing looking better.  I don't know what Shannon would do without her mother?  She has had a rough health week with the bad burning of her hand and arm.  Spent the afternoon at the doctors on Wednesday. Today her stomach is all extended and she is having really bad back pain.  Ryan and her took her IUD out last weekend.  They did it themselves.  She is only suppose to leave it in for 5 years and it has been in 6 yrs. way over due, she has not been back in to see an obygn doctor since Landon was born- when they put her IUD in.  I'm worried that she is having problems from the removal of the IUD.  there are side effects and   she could have infection setting in. She has been in a bad way today.  I had her call her primary doctor, they said she could be constipated.  I went to the store to get her some medicine to get her bowls going.  I hated leaving her but had to leave for the evening.  We had a wedding down town to attend and little Winston 2nd birthday party.  I got home just in time to clean up and hurry out the door.

Winston 2nd Birthday

We went to our Winston Thomas 2nd birthday last night.  Tasha had invited grandparents, Fun to see Bridgers grandparents and parents.  We enjoyed visiting with everyone.  Baby Anniston is so darling!!

Tasha & Trisha Stopped By For A Visit On Tuesday.

I have not seen  newborn Anniston for over a week.  I really wanted to see her.  I had planned on going out Tuesday afternoon to visit.  Tasha called and said she was meeting her friends for play group and that she would stop by to visit afterwards.  She stopped by with her three little ones.  I had just enough time to take a nap from our outing in picking up the broken trailer.  Trisha also stopped by to let Saydee and Karlee practice piano.  They are picking up our piano on Saturday.  The girls started lesson this week hope to get a piano player in the family.  I tried with my girls and that didn't go so well, so maybe one of the granddaughters will learn to play well enough in the future.  We are giving them our family piano.  I have loved my piano and have really not wanted to part with it, but I'm not using it so it might as well be in use!  We had a great time visiting with the grandkids.  I enjoyed holding our baby Anniston. She is so precious!!  After they left I had to hurry and tidy up the house, Terry our brother-in-law was coming up from St. George to sleep over for a couple of nights.  He had a mortgage conference to attend.  He is now selling mortgages for a living.  No more private flying.  He had worked for years flying for a private owner, but he had to sell his plane.  Life has it challenges.  Keeping the money coming in is a challenge for them. Terry and Chris had to adopt some of their grandchildren, so they are in their 60's still raising kids.

Sharlena Called About Her Skin Cancer Removeal

Sharlena called yesterday afternoon, Wednesday while I was at the doctors with Shannon to let me know she had surgery on her leg.  When we were at the lake for the Symes family reunion I noticed her leg and told her she needed to get into the doctor to have it checked,  it looked like skin cancer.  Sure enough it was and she had surgery on her leg yesterday to remove the cancer.  They caught it early which is a relief!  She is going to just have to keep her leg elevated for a week or so.  I really want to take the time to go visit and see what I can do to help her.  My two older girls have had their health issues this summer.  And need their mother's love.

Hard Working Week

I have spent the entire week again out at Shannon's helping her sort stuff and clean her house, it has taken us the past two weeks just sorting and cleaning each room.  We had to move Michael and all his stuff from the basement family room to the bed room in the basement that was a huge chore.  We cleared so much stuff out last week into our trailer.  Just trying to get all the clutter out of the house, so we can clean it.  We are just taking one room at a time sorting and clearing thing out.  This week I was able to clear Jaxons room out and the office stuff in the upstairs bedroom out so we can move Landon in that room.  We finally got it all clean out to day and stuff sorted and move into the basement office. The handyman this week was able to get all the water leaks fixed. It is slowly coming along, just have to stick to it until we can get it all sorted and cleared out.  Shannon will feel much better when we get it all sorted and have cleared out all the clutter.  I'm beat today.  I have put a full day in, I'm talking a hot bath tonight and resting from my hard work.  House work is a hard job and is exhausting for me now days.  I just have to pace myself.  I feel we have made some great progress the past two weeks.  Just keeping moving along.  Sorting is a slow process but is badly needed.  I feel we have made a valiant effort, things are staring to look and feel cleaner.  Tomorrow we have got to tackle her bedroom and finish up sorting in the basement family room, clean the downstairs bathroom and sort and clean the garage.  That is a hard days work and will take the weekend to finish it up.  Next week we are taking the week off before the boys go back to school on the 18th of August.  Summer is coming to a close fast!!

Broken Trailor

Craig took Michael, his friend Zach and Landon to the Cabin this past weekend.  Sunday night on the way home they had gotten off the freeway and were just getting back on the freeway, on the off ramp when the trailer broke.  Craig was hauling his rhino home and the ladders I asked for him to bring home for cleaning at Shannon's.  They are so blessed that they were not on the freeway when the trailer broke down, it could have been a bad accident.   We got up early to go fix the trailer and bring it home.  That was a morning chore for us.  We had to drive to Wanship about an hour away and then spent over an hour working on it We didn't get home until lunch time.  I was beat and had to take a nap. Craig spent the afternoon working on fixing the trailer.  I told him he must be living right.  He had angels looking after him and the boys on Sunday night coming home.  The outcome could have been disastrous !!  So thankful they are all ok!!

Shannon Burned Her Arm & Hand

Shannon ordered a new steamer last week to clean with.  We were cleaning the blinds with it.  It works really good.  She was stopping to re-fill it with water, talking the cap off, when she released the cap it explode with steaming boiling water all over her hand.  She thought she had waited long enough for it to cool,  well apparently not!!  It has burned her really bad.  Each day since then it has looked worse. By Wednesday her hand was very swollen and looks like an infection has set in.  I told her she needed to get into the doctor today.  She made an appointment at noon.  I was able to do a few chores for a couple of hours.  It is slow work sorting but has to be done in order to clear things out.  She has been in so much pain!!  It is her right arm which makes it hard for her to do anything now.  I took her to the doctor, she was in no shape to be driving herself.  Burns are very painful!!  The doctor got us right in.  She said it is a terrible burn and is infected.  She gave her an antibiotic prescription and cream to put on her arm she needs to change the bandage twice daily.  She also gave her a prescription for the pain.  We went straight to the pharmacy.  It would be an hour before they could fill it.  So we went and got some lunch.  We had to drive to West Jordan to fill the antibiotic cream for her arm.  I spent the afternoon taking care of Shannon.  Had to take her home and put her to bed,  We were both beat.  I put a full day in talking care of the Chaudhry family. This is going to be a long recovery for Shannon,  it is a terrible burn!!  I know it is so painful, because I burned my finger with the steamer and that is hurting me, nothing compare to the burn she is dealing with!!   I feel so bad for her!!  She has gone from one health issue to another.  Two week ago she had hand & foot illness with Landon.  They were both very sick with a high fever for over a week.  One week of feeling better and now this!!

Helping Shannon Clean Her House

I have been out at Shannon's home all week helping her clean!!  It has been a Chore.  She has been living in such a mess for way too long!!  Her house needs a good spring cleaning that has not happened for years!  She is not good at keeping things in an organize matter.  She has her little piles everywhere.  I have been sorting and cleaning as I go and put like things in one place.  She is really going to have a lot more room once she get things cleared out of her house.  She has cluttered the house up with way to much furniture, things we gave her from the old cabin that she has not wanted to part with, yet it is way to much for her little house.  I didn't get out there until 2pm on Monday and Tuesday, but did what I could.  Wednesday I had only three hours to help. I worked at the temple on Wednesday nights.  Thursday we put a full day in. I got there at 9:00 and came home about 7pm.  I was beat!!  I didn't get nearly as much as I wanted to get done.  Each little corner of the house takes hours of sorting and put things away and then cleaning that small area.  I tackled the laundry room just so I could move in there and keep the laundry going for the week.  I was able to clear a lot out of the family room and started washing blinds.  Shannon ordered a new steamer for cleaning.  It works really well until she burned her hand with it taking the lid off for more water.  The lid blew off when released with pressure and hit us both with hot steaming water.  I was far away enough that I was ok but it burned Shannon's hand bad!  She was done for the day!  I got done what I could for the day.  It is slow going for us but each day we are making progress.  It is things that needed to be done and so over due!!  When I got home Thursday night I was able to visit with Stacy and the boys for a bit.  She got back in town Wednesday night.  She gained 10 pounds while she was gone and she has really pop out since we last saw her.  She is due Oct 10th.  We have another baby girl on her way.  We are so excited!!  Friday morning I woke up very early at 4 am I got up and tidy my house and read emails.  I made myself go back to bed until 7:30.  I was out the door for a full day at Shannon's.  We have so much work that needs to be done!!  Craig came out with me.  Shannon had a repair man out on Thursday for three hours working on her things around her house that needed fixing.  She has two toilets leaking.  He was going to fix the dry wall in the leaking areas when he tore out the ceiling and found the upstairs toilet was leaking really bad and the kitchen bathroom is leaking down in her saloon.  It has leaked for years and has been a stinkin mess.  Ryan's dad tied fixing both when in town and then still they have been leaking.  The handyman left for the day and said we needed a plumber to fix the leaking toilets.  So I got my dear husband out to take a look.  He is great fix it man to have around the house!!  So proud of  his efforts and he can usually always figure things out and how to fix it.  We were at Natasha's on Sunday and her air conditioner unit has been freezing up and then she has to turn the air off, which is tough in the heat of summer.  Craig looked at it and was able to figure it out.  They had put an extra filter in the furnace and it was blocking the air flow.  It was an easy fix, just needed someone to look at it and figure out the problem.  Well yesterday My Husband the plumber was able to fix the upstairs toilet!!  It just needed a new seal.  Craig and Micheal worked on it and it is now working without any leaks.  Craig then tackled the downstairs toilet.  That was a huge mess to tear out!!  The sub floor was all rotten and smelling from toilet water leaking for years.  Not a fun job!!  They got it all torn out so the handy man on Monday could work on replacing the sub-flooring and sheet rock from the leak.  I spent the morning cleaning out the pantry.  I took every thing out and steamed and cleaned the closet really good.  There was something horrible smelling in it and needed to figure it out.  Finally I found it was a box with something that had rotten in the box.  That was a days job just cleaning out the pantry.  Took much more time than I wanted.  Craig left about 3pm. to go to the lake.  He took Michael and his friend Zach and Landon with him for the weekend.  I wanted to just stay home.  I'm beat from my hard work at the the Chaudhry family this week.  Jaxon was going to go but he was cleaning out the turtle and duck tank.  The tank fell and a large piece of glass came crashing down on Jaxon's foot.  It was bleeding like crazy!!  He had two big cuts.   I got all woozy looking at it.  We had to take a break and doctor Jaxon.  He needed a couple of sticthes, but Shannon bandage it with fly tape to hold the wound together.  He is going to have a good scare on his foot.  After that I was just done.  We lost our energy to do much more for the day. Shannon's builder friend came over to take a look at what she needs fixing.  He told her to take every thing out of the family room and kitchen and to plaster the walls.  It would help the resale value.  I told him we needed a painter.  I physically couldn't do it all.  I thought about painting, but realized it is going to take all my time just sorting and helping Shannon clear things out of her house.  She is going to have to hire a few handymen to get the things repaired and painted. The walls are all so beat from the boys they need major repair.  I could paint once that is done.  Shannon is just wanting to get the house up for sale before the boys go back to school on the 18th of August.  It is August 1st and it is going to take us those 18 days working longs hours getting this house ready for a a For Sale sign!!
