Yay I have lost some more weight

This Wednesday I weighed in at 156, I have not seen that for over two years!! Finally the weight is coming off, if I can just keep it off, that's the challenge!!   We went to a wedding reception Friday night I ate the chocolate brownies with fudge and ice cream it was so good !!  We were dressed up nice for the evening and still hungry so we went out to dinner at Applebee's, so I gained back a couple of pounds.  I'm still below the 160 mark which is so exciting I haven't seen that for a long time. I've just got to keep going I really want to lose 20 pounds.  At least get in the 140s again'.  July is hard with all the family weekends at the cabin I eat more food than I should and I actually gained weight in July so I'm hoping this year that I can maintain and not gain anymore weight!!

Saturday, June 27th my dear husband left for his trip to New Orleans he has a five day trip there, meetings for the association, I'm going to miss my hubby.  I'm looking forward to having some time to myself the next few days I spent the day working in the yard again and finishing up on things that I hadn't gotten done yet. The planting has been a lot of work but the yard looks so much better now, keeping it all watered is going to be the trick because it is so hot!! The hottest June on record this year. Over 100 degrees for several weeks now.   Craig's flight left at 6 AM this morning so we had to get up at four am. I was so tired when I dropped him off at the airport and I came home went back to bed for couple hours and then I spent the rest of the day working in the yard till about 4 o'clock I was beat. I went and bought bark to put in the flowerbeds so I still have to unload my car and spread the 12 bags that I bought today but I just ran out of energy by 6 o'clock I was done for the day I took a hot bath and I have just been relaxing for the evening, treated myself to a yummy Turkey bacon avocado sandwich from kneaders and now I'm going to watch Gray's anatomy.  A new season was just uploaded on Netflix so I will be able to catch up.  Tasha text me tonight asked me if I could babysit Winston and Aniston Sunday through Wednesday this week while she goes to California with Bridger.  I text her back and said I didn't know if I can handle them by myself with Craig out of town four days,, that is long all by myself, I was looking forward to spending time alone and getting a few things done around here I'm behind on my housework after I spent all week in the yard and gone to Bear Lake for Father's Day weekend.  We plan on going back up to the lake this Thursday, July 2 so I only have Sunday Monday Tuesday and Wednesday to get some things done around here.  I was looking forward to having the time to myself so I'm not really excited about babysitting.  Tasha will get back with me she's not sure what they're doing yet.  With Craig out of town it gives me time to scan pictures and work on a retirement digital scrapbook for him.  Thinking of having a retirement party and birthday combined this year for his birthday August 10th.  He turns the big 60 this year!

Went boating at Echeo Lake

This Thursday, June 25th Craig and I went boating at Echo we invited the Chaudhry,s  and we picked up Lincoln and Cole to go with us too. we had a great time boating!  It has been really hot so it felt good to spend the afternoon on the lake.  We stayed till dark and by the time we drove home from Ogden it was after midnight before we crawled in bed.  Three of the Chaudhry boys slept over and Friday they spent the day working in the yard and helping me do things, they were good workers.  We had to wash the boat and clean it up.  I had lots of towels to wash it was a hard-working day for us I was deadbeat when I crawled in bed. Had to help Craig pack because he was leaving for New Orleans early in the morning he had a 6 AM flight and crawling to bed until after midnight and we had to get up at four we both had a hard time going to sleep so I don't think we got more than three hours asleep.

This past week after we got home from Bear Lake on Father's Day weekend I wanted to plant flowers in our yard.  I had not done any flower planting yet, Craig has kept me busy with him home during the day and back-and-forth to the lake.  We got home Monday afternoon June 22 from spending time with the family at the lake for Father's Day. I had to work on some things for my mom, her check for the land finally came for the $700, I was able to have that mailed here so that she wouldn't be given her money away.  Went to the bank to open a savings account for her.  She's got to hang on to what little money she has left. Tuesday through Saturday this week I worked hard in the yard getting it ready for the summer season.  I have been late planting flowers this year, the benefit was they have been marking the flowers down so I got some good buys on discounted flowers for the yard this year.  I'm thinking about having a birthday retirement party for Craig this year on August 10th so I wanted the yard to look really nice so I've been working hard to give it a good jump start. It has been a really hard week in the hundreds degree every day this week.  Summer is here!!  We went from having lots of rain to lots of heat!

Craig has got me bike riding this year we have rode over 80 miles in the last 2 1/2 weeks I have enjoyed spending time with my husband,  on Wednesday, June 3 we had to take our new car in and have scratches buffed out and we rode along the Jordan River about 14 miles.  I felt like we were on vacation, I'm Enjoying time spending with my husband retired.

Three weeks ago  May 29th Craig and I traded our Denali in for a new car. I picked out a red Acadia.  I have really enjoyed driving in the past few weeks it's fun to have a new car.  We bought it on Friday the week before our anniversary it has been a fun present for both of us.

Thursday June 18th, we went up to Kaysville to watch Cole and Aubrey in their track meet, they did really well it was a hot day 100°, for June is very hot !!  After the track me we came home and packed up to go to Bear Lake for Father's Day weekend, we babysat Karlee & Boston they rode up with us.  Trisha, Buck, & Sadie went to youth conference this weekend, we met Sharlena at the cabin with Tasha on Friday and had a great time. Wishing you a Happy Fathers Day thank you for our beautiful grandchildren that we love very much  Note that I sent to all our son-in-laws

Being his 5th daughter, my dad has endured a ridiculous number of dance performances -- and he's never complained once.  He cheered the loudest and was always my biggest supporter.  I've never once questioned how much my dad loves me. He's always proud of me, no matter what I do, and cheers me on in everything to this day! For that my Dad will always be the best! Happy Father's Day, dad!!! I love you more!. 
We went up to the cabin on Thursday night to celebrate Father's Day weekend with Sharlena and her four kids and Tasha and her three kids came up Friday night.   We had a great time boating and enjoying the weather at the cabin they all left Saturday night. Father's Day was a quiet and relaxing day for Craig & I at the cabin we were beat after entertaining.

Craig & I came back up to the lake last night after the birthday party for his.morher.  We brought the Chaudhry boys withs us this time. Summer is finally here.  The weather is beautiful today at the lake. I have missed Sacramemt the past two weeks.  It feels good to be church today.  The weekend before I stayed home feeling frazzled while Craig took the boys to church,  last weekend was our wedding Anniversay at the lake Craig forgot his church clothes so we stayed at the Cabin for the day.  We remembered to bring church clothes this weekend.  Craig has gained weight since he has been sick with the Shingles so the church clothes he normally wears are too tight.  He had to finally break down and buy a larger size pair of pants.  He is not happy about that.  We plan to spend today and tomrrow with the boys.  We have to have the boys back Monday night.  Michael starts his first job on Tuesday at Chuch A-Rama.  He is excited he gets two meals on his shift  and can eat all he wants.  He is a big 16 year old.  The three older grandsons are taller than Craig now.

Craig's mom arrived Friday afternoon and slept over. That night we attended Tracy & Jason wedding reception.  It was fun visiting with family.  Saturday night we attended the birthday party for mom Lavon. Chris and Shelly worked really hard decorating a Hawaiian theme in Shelly's backyard.  We had a great turn out with all the family over a 100 there.  I made Hawaiian chicken.  It turned out yummy!

June 7th, 2015 Happy Anniversary! Love you both so much!! So grateful for you and your relationship. Thanks for your example on how to keep the marriage alive!!   Sweet note from our Stacy Lee.  She is always so thought in sending us love notes.  We came to the Lake Friday night on June 5th arrived at 1am. We got up late because we went to see Cole play in his baseball game and then took them all out to ice cream afterwards.  We were at the lake from Saturday till Wednesday morning.  We stayed 4 days.  It felt nice to spend time with my dear husband.  We relaxed and worked around the cabin   Lots of spring cleaning and getting the cabin ready for another summer season. It felt good to go home when we wanted to. Nice to have my dear Hubby retired.  I enjoy spending time with him !! I started bike ridding with him. Saturday we rode 15 miles across the north shore highway Tuesday we rode from our cabin to Sweetwater and back 14 miles.  Fun to spend time with Craig!

Shannon met with a Realtor Sunday to list her house finally!!  It's been a lot of work for both of us getting her house ready we still have more that needs to be done but we've come a long ways.  I went out there several days this week to try to help.  Craig went out with me a couple days as well, he changed all the door knobs on their front and back door that was a chore but finally got it done they needed keys to get in with the key box.  Both the front and the back door knobs were broken and they didn't have a key that worked.  Finding the right door knobs to fit their door was the challenge for Craig and then getting them installed but finally he got it done, it took him all day Friday and part of Thursday to figure it out, I worked on staging her house and making it look good for pictures, they were going to come out on Tuesday morning but there was no way we were going to be making it so we rescheduled for Thursday morning,  Shannon had a doctors appointment and would not be there,  She wanted to be there so they rescheduled for Monday morning at 11 am which was a huge sigh of relief because we still have lots of work to do and this gives us the week to finish things up,  I went out on Wednesday and helped her for several hours again they are making headway we finally got her room clean we just need to paint her bathroom and finish painting the front door.  It looking really pretty, finally have most of it all done hallelujah !!

Drama with my mother again

This past week has been very upsetting with my mom again!!  She just keeps lying.  Two weekends ago Jake and Chance came to spend the weekend with mom.  While there Jake helped mom reset up her passwords on her computer, her house laptop and her phone.  Jake ran across emails from the scammers again where mother said she was trying to raise $10,000 more dollars to send to them.  She was going to have a yard sale and would be getting a land settlement in June so she could send them more money.  Thank goodness Jake got a warning sign for us, can't believe we are still dealing with all of this, it's not over!!  Craig had been telling me I needed to find out who the man was that mother was getting a land settlement from.   She had not told me yet,  I had asked her several times. I know she was supposed to get a settlement in December for $7000 but she said the guy didn't pay her, he was supposed to pay her in June if not she was going to have to foreclose on the property in Oklahoma and she told me this whole story of how he had hard times and has not been able to pay her yet.  He would be paying her in June if not she would foreclose on the property.   I asked her for the phone number so  I could verify the payment and she kept putting me off saying  "I can take care of a few things."  I had gotten the tax notice so I looked up the phone number and called the county assessor in Oklahoma she was able to give me the name of a Realtor there locally that she thought could help me.  They were the ones that had paid the property taxes the past two years.  The man that bought the property has been faithful in paying his payments every year, mother has been lying she had gotten the check for $7000 in December and cashed it and has told me a bullshit lie ever since.  She has sucked me in again, I was believing that she was being truly honest with me and did not have any money. She needed to file bankruptcy and we have been waiting for that money on the property and here she's been lying the whole time.  I'm so upset with her and disgusted,  I just don't even want to help her anymore!!   It's going to be a fight from here on out to get her turned around in the right direction I can see that now!!  I told the man that we put a change of address in, that mother is coming up to Utah the middle of June and that he needed to mail the check to this address so we'll see what happens hopefully I'll be able to intercept the last $7000 that she has to her name right now and then I can stop her from sending her money away to the international scammers.  This is all that she has left. So upset with her that she flat out lie to me and continues to lie.
