The stress of our lives
Having Tasha and Bridger living here is very challenging the house is a mess, the kids stuff everywhere, the kitchen and laundry is never ending. With my broken arm it's just hard to do anything right now I've had to just let things go. The house is feeling really dirty with all the Christmas Clutter and the extra people living here I can't keep house right now the way I would like for it to be, just have to be patient a little longer. Tasha & Bridger have got to get in their own home soon. I know Tasha is feeling really stressed with the demands of being a young mother. It is a full-time job just taking care of her kids and then adding her Internet business in the mix she has her hands full, she has depended on Craig and I to help her a lot the past three months while they have been living here. She wants to leave New Year's day to go on a trip to St. George with her girlfriends for the weekend and has asked the family to babysit. Bridger is a career change right now, wants to go out of town for some meetings so that leaves her hanging. She really wants to go on this trip but I'm no help to her with the baby right now because I can't lift her, I feel like I need some help myself, I can't get the housework done, I can't even wash my own hair right now I'm not functioning with this broken arm. The pain is starting to let up, I'm able to do a few extra things that I wasn't able to do, feels nice to be more independent. it's so hard to depend on others to help you when you're down and out. Having my mother here is another added stress in the situation right now with me not functioning. She has been sick while she's been here and needs lots of help herself. Craig came home from the lake Sunday night and his knee flared up again so he's in a lot of pain with his knee. Pain really wears on you and makes life much more difficult to deal with. We just have to guy it up and do what we can. There is always so much to do in keeping the home and family going smoothly. We are just on autopilot right now. My right side is feeling better today, I can tell it's very tender and temperamental, don't want to do anything to flair it up. Sister Banks called me this morning sick with a bad cold and asked if I would substitute for her at the temple tonight so I've somehow got to manage to wash my hair and get myself dressed I feel like I can handle it OK its getting myself there. I wanted to get a sub for us for tomorrow night so we could head up to the lake earlier for the new year weekend but I don't know if that's going to happen, Craig called several people and no one has come through yet. I'm just in no hurry to get up there, I know it's going to be really cold and snowy and I just feel like I can't do a whole lot so it puts a damper on my desire to do much of anything.

The pain doesn't end
Craig and I got up this morning Monday morning to go to the gym for a workout mother went with us this morning to do her water therapy. I helped her down to the pool. I bent over to pick up a plastic chair to sit down and had severe pain in my rib cage, I could hardly move again it felt like the pain I had about three weeks ago and had to lay in a recliner for three days. I had Craig take me to the chiropractor to get an adjustment I felt like I needed one for quite a while. I noticed Sunday my right side was very achy wasn't quite sure what it was, Craig at the chiropractor today said that I had knocked my ribs out of place. He adjusted me and tolde the rest of the day I've just had to lay low. This fall has really beaten my body up. It is very frustrating, I feel like I can't do very much right now.

With my fractured arm I have not been able to do much the week prior to Christmas day it has been so painful. Trisha offered to host our family Christmas party at her home Christmas Day. I took her up on the offer because I knew there was no way I was going to be able to do it this year, I can barely get myself dressed we had a very nice time. It was so fun together as family. Trisha had everything decorated so nice I know it was a lot of work for her because she hosted the Burbidge family Christmas Eve and then our family Christmas day.

Healing time
This past week has been a real challenge with my fracture wrist. It is hard to do anything. Just getting my self dressed is a challenge for me. I have just had go lay low and let the pain slowly subside. Monday went to the dr. They put me in a splint and said it would be about 4 weeks of heal. Right now it is really hard to try to do anything. Just going to take time.
Fracture my left wrist
Saturday morning after our workout I was in the kitchen with Craig and all the family. Bridger was loading the dishwasher I was peeling and cutting tomatoes at the sink, Craig came over and move me over to drain water from the boiled eggs, next thing I knew I turned around to get mother a cup and I free fall backwards onto the floor my foot had hit the dishwasher I could feel myself falling but couldn't grab anything to catch and landed on my left arm. Hurt so bad and about passed out. My tailbone and bavk hurt really bad to from the impact. I was done for the rest of the day!! I left wrist hurts so bad that I thought sure I had broken it. Craig took me to InstaCare five hours later to have an x-ray and sure enough it has a small fracture. Just what I need five days before Christmas and having my mother here. She Is feeble walking and needs her walker. I'm suppose to be taking care of her. The pain is really bad!!

In my spare time
In the middle of all the activities with our family, I find little pockets of time to work on my family history. I have so much that needs to be done. I love Ancestry.com there are so many sources to attach to my family names. I'm working on building each family tree as far back as I can go and then merging family files on family search. It is slot of work !!! But I love doing it !!!
My mother is coming for Christmas this year
I bought my mom a plane ticket I found you a really good rate for $250 round-trip on a nonstop flight. Tuesday went shopping for a new mattress for the bedroom upstairs where I'll be putting her, since Natasha and Bridger are living here I really need a mattress. i The one on there antique bed is just not very comfortable. I found one so Craig and I'll need to go pick it up before she arrives next Thursday on 17th of December. Today I started moving her stuff in the closet upstairs. She packed a lot of clothes last fall not them here so she doesn't have to bring much this trip I had to pack it all up with Natasha and Bridger moved in, so now I got to unpack it and move it in the bedroom upstairs it seems all I do is pack up and move things around lately. Monday I packed up all the scrap books that were in the closet and moved them in my office so it would open up the closet space for my mother. I will be glad when Tasha and Bridger get in their own home, it will open things back up in the house for us again. it's starting to feel really cluttered right now with all the extra stuff around. We are living in every inch of this house right now
Yeah I am losing weight
I weighed in this morning at 150.4lbs I haven't seen that since 2011 that's been four years ago. It's so exciting to drop down, I've officially lost 10 pounds since Halloween. Crying and I've been trying to work out every morning we had a good workout this morning I burned about 500 cal and then I've tried to eat good today want to keep losing way I want to lose 15 more pounds I would love to get down to 135 pounds that is my goal weight.
Natasha is sick with the stomach bug
Wednesday morning Tosha woke up throwing up with the stomach bug that's been going around for over a week now it's gone through the entire family she was so sick yesterday I had to take charge with the kids and let her stay in bed for the day. I took Lincoln to school I'm Winston's to Stacy's for the afternoon so Tasha good rest. I put Aniston down for a late nap so she could sleep and then I had to get to the temple I was late getting there last night got there at about 530 but was able to finish my shift out. I was really tired when I got home I had a full day
This has been a better week
Tuesday was my shopping day I ran several errands went to Costco and picked up the scrapbooks that I made for the girls for Christmas and got my nails done I was tired when I got home it felt good to be on about for a little bit today finally I'm over the stomach bug it was not fun starting to get excited about Christmas I bought a few Christmas presents. I found the cutest frozen dolls and little dresses to match for little Sarah and Annie for Christmas this year so excited to give it to them. Their first little dolls they were just newborns last year so they are so cute this year, they love Caring a baby dolls around. I'm enjoying the little Aniston so much while they're living with us she's such a cute little baby girl.
Helping Shannon decorate her Christmas tree
Shannon called and asked if I would come and help her decorate her tree. she bought a new 9 foot tree for their new house and it's a lot taller than what she's used to decorating, she needed a ladder that was taller to stand on, I went out on Monday and spent the afternoon helping her decorate their tree and put garland on the fireplace it turned out really nice the kids all loved it!! We're excited to have the tree all done.
Christmas decorations are up

I stuck to the task and worked Friday and all day Saturday and a little bit Sunday I finally got our decorations all put up throughout the house. By Sunday afternoon things felt really nice and cozy. It was a chore and I did not feel well but glad to have it all done Lincoln was all excited to have the Christmas decorations up. We invited all the grand kids over to watch the Christmas devotional and have Craig's traditional chocolate pudding. It was fun to visit with the grand kids. The younger ones are a handful right now. We had nine of our grand kids here Chaudhry's and Noriega's were not able to come. Getting through the Christmas devotional was not going to happen they were all too excited , we put in the nativity video about baby Jesus and they watch that much better for a short period of time and then it was pillow fight time on the couch.

This is been a hard week
Last night Craig and I started not feeling well sick to our stomach's . Last night I started feeling sick to my stomach and by Friday morning this morning Craig is throwing up big time. The week after Thanksgiving this is been a hard week for us. I was beat after our Thanksgiving dinner on Friday and had to lay low. Took me all day Friday and Saturday to put things away now it's time to get out Christmas. I have just not been in the mood to get my Christmas stuff out yet. I've had to push myself to get there. Monday and Tuesday Craig and I worked out hard, I finally got down to 151.6, so excited that I didn't gain any weight over the Thanksgiving week. I woke up Tuesday morning feeling achy and my back on the right side felt like something inside had flared up, I went and worked out and lifted weights by Tuesday night I was in so much pain in my rib cage area I didn't know what was going on. I had a rough night sleeping. I couldn't lay on either side I had to lay flat I finally got up and laid in the recliner most of the night by early morning I was feeling really rough I had no motion of range, it was so hard to even try to bend down and put my shoes or socks on. I was in so much pain I knew there was no way I would be working at the temple Wednesday night I had to call sister Lynette Banks to substitute for me. I laid around in a recliner all day Wednesday and Wednesday night. Thursday morning I felt a little better I had a little bit more movement didn't hurt quite as much to move. Crsid thinks I just strained the muscles in my rib cage lifting weights. It has sure knocked me down the last two days. I've had to lay low and not do anything and give it time to heal, Natosha's kids of been sick with the throw up bug all week. Lincoln came home Saturday throwing up and sick from their Thanksgiving weekend Monday and Tuesday little Annie was throwing up and Wednesday night and yesterday Winniston was throwing up guess there was no way to avoid the bug Craig & I have it now!!! I had to cancel my visiting teaching appointmeny this morning. Little Lincoln started dragging out all my Christmas decorations. I feel too sick to do anything. Guess I will try and gut it up and put the tree up .

I needed to give the main level a good cleaning. The house is feeling so dirty. Eating time is a constant clean-up. Baby Annie is so messy right now. She wants to feed herself and half the food goes on the floor. I need to give the floors a good vaccuming I needed to clean. I couldn't stand it. It a daily task cleaning up after the kids. Tasha and Bridger are both so busy right now. I have hardly seen Bridger in the last 3 weeks since they moved in. Bridger is working long hours and going to school to finish his masters degree. He also has to travel out of town he was gone four days last week to Alabama. Tasha really does need help with the kids. I don't know how she would do it with out our help right now. Natasha's Birthday
Our youngest daughter celebrated her 28th birthday on Friday. We went to lunch with Mindy and Emma, Tasha in-laws at the Cheese cake Factory. I babysat last night so they could go out. I have been fighting a bug this week so my energy is not up to par. Having the three Thomas grandkids in our home 24/7 is very tiring. I'm constantly cleaning up after them. Hope they find home soon.
