Monday August 29th

I awoke at 7:30 am it is going to be a beautiful sunny day -I listened to a video chip Shannon sent to me about the fake vaccine that has been pushed on millions of people across the world.  The long term side effects are not good - people are still getting the illness and now the vaccine is found to be causing even more harm in our immune systems with many ways of actually killing people in a short period of time - we are starting to see more cancer, stokes, heart attacks and weird growths that are growing throughout the body.  When people are dying after being given the shot morticians are having a hard time draining the bodies from blood because of all the various growths that are taking place in the body which they are finding is stopping the blood flow and causing all these various health problems as well.   It is predicted now there are going to be many more early deaths due to the adverse effects of the unproven shot-  I'm just so glad I did not cave in to the pressures of getting the shot.  I did pray about it and the spirit told me No! and to watch and listen.  I felt it so strongly and kept to this decision even though there were many in our own faith saying I was not following the prophet if I was not receiving the shot- our medical professionals are pushing it on us as well.  Now there  is data coming out how harmful the shot really is.  It is the biggest scam on the entire world of deception.  I just pray for the support we need as a family to get through this trying time - we have family who did receive the shot according to recommendations - pray they can sustain their health - I'm really worried about my Noriega family - they have been in support and have all received the shot - even the kids- the older kids it can cause infertility which is a huge concern and the DNA mutated gene can be passed on to the next generation the long term effect is reporting not good.  God Save us !! I’m just so thankful I have listened to my Holy Spirit guidance even when things were a contradictions at the time.  I have been watching and listening-  

My dear hubby is still suffering from his hurt back that he did water skiing last Wednesday - he has been  in a lot of pain.  I trying to take care of him we are praying each day it will get a little better.  We had a nice weekend with the Noriega family - Austin brought up 12 friends they all had a great time on Saturday.  Buck and Trisha came up to help with the boating since Craig wasn’t able too.  So appreciate their help.  We enjoyed spending time with them too.  I so appreciate all they do for us.  Stacy just sent a video clip of her speaking in church at sacrament yesterday.  So proud of her -she did a great job.  It is a heat wave this week -going to be in the high 80’s. I’m ready for summer to end yet so glad for the warmer weather.  Just wish my hubby was doing better.  I’m teaching gospel doctrine this coming Sunday- so I've got to dig into my lesson material this week.  

Sabbath Day

Sister Paige Argle is speaking today - she has shared a very powerful message of how God has helped her to receive personal revelation with Questions she has had about gospel principles and doctrine she has struggles with and how god has answers her ? As she has studied and prayed for answers - she is going to be a power sister missionary from our ward - she leaves in September.   The Argle family of 8 children moved in a couple of months ago - they are building a home in our ward boundaries.  They will be a great asset to our ward family.  She talked about how she has strived to have answers about women of our church and why thay don’t have the priesthood.  I would be curious to hear what she has learned on this subject- this was one of my favorite class I took at education week which I learned a lot about this very subject.  

Our next speaker was Stew Thompson he is one of our new high councilor. His message-  We share the gospel by being an example - reaching out in love and concern to others.  Build trust with others to open up the relationship-  we are not to hide our light - we gain a stronger testimony by Sharing our testimony -  build our personal foundation in the gospel- section 6 :22-  Verily, verily, I say unto you, if you desire a further witness, cast your mind upon the night that you cried unto me in your heart, that you might know concerning the truth of these things.

23 Did I not speak Peace to your mind concerning the matter? What greater witness can you have than from God?

24 And now, behold, you have received a witness; for if I have told you things which no man knoweth have you not received a witness?

The Lord was speaking to him as I have felt this same peace in my own testimony foundation - the gospel maessagw brings peace to my soul - he also referred to the conference talk April 2019 - Missionary Work: Sharing What Is in Your Heart

“Wherever you are on this earth, there are plenty of opportunities to share the good news of the gospel of Jesus Christ.” We all can be a friend first -this opens the door in a natural way to share the gospel message to others 

I Reread the talk - section - D&C 64: 34 Behold, the Lord requireth the heart and a willing mind; and the willing and obedient shall eat the good of the land of Zion in these last days. These were the 

  Highlight of his talk which spoke to me.  

In reviewing this talk I came across this scripture in the footnote attached 

Ephesians 1:-10 ​That in the ​​​dispensation​ of the fulness of times he might ​​​gather​ together in one ​​​all​ things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; ​even​ in him:  I’m living in this time now -that the church of Jesus Christ has been restored to the earth to-gather those that will come unto Christ in order to usher in the Millennium.  Christ needs a worthy and righteous people to come to in order to lead and guide. we see the prophecy of Paul in the New Testament  being fulfilled in our despensation. 

Our Relief society lesson was really good today as we reviewed and discussed the conference talk. - Our HeartFelt All

Of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles 

I really liked this talk.  Elder Uchtdorf always gives such inspiring talks. 

I remember listening to his talk and being inspired - it was inspiring to review in detail in Relief society today - 

Jesus taught that our offering may be large or it may be small, but either way, it must be our heartfelt all.

This principle is echoed in the plea of the Book of Mormon prophet Amaleki: “Come unto Christ, who is the Holy One of Israel, and partake of his salvation, and the power of his redemption. Yea, come unto him, and offer your whole souls as an offering unto him.”

But how is this possible? To many of us, such a standard of whole-souled commitment seems out of reach. We are already stretched so thin. How can we balance the many demands of life with our desires to offer our whole souls to the Lord?

We discussed how we do this ?  In the talk he highlighted several ways -  

Balance: Like Riding a Bicycle- at first it is difficult to balance yet as we practice it becomes easy -we soon learn riding and balancing on a bike without even thinking about it -it  comes as second nature.  

Quote - Most of all, those who succeed in balancing on a bicycle learn these important tips:

Don’t look at your feet.

Look ahead.

Keep your eyes on the road in front of you. Focus on your destination. And get pedaling. Staying balanced is all about moving forward.  The lesson I learn from this example is that I keep pressing forward on the coveant path. Balance does come in time.

Friday-August 26th

Criag hurt his back water skiing on Wednesday- he hasn’t skied since last August ans wanted to try it- well now he hurting, he hameard a loud crack trying to get up his second try.  He still got up his third time with his back hurting-  he doesn’t give up easily-  he was hurting so bad he had to take some strong pain medication-  he makes him very loopy.  We had a big wind storm ans rain come up and I had to drive the baot to thr marina.  It was hard to see with the rain coming down hard-  we mange to get the boat out.  The storm blew over after all that stress-  craig just had to lay low the rest of the day-  it was my first time driving the boat by myself and in a storm no less- sigh of relief!! Thursday craig laid low -I tinkered around cleaning and caring for him.  I went and played pickleball at our league night - it was lots of fun for me.  Craig say in a lounge chair and watched us.  He was cheering me on - Dan and Holly Bradshaw came to watch they want to learn how.   Today is a beautdul sunny day.  It has been pretty weather all week we just had that fast passing rain storm on Wednesday afternoon.  Sad for summer to end !! The grandkids all started back to school this week.  Austin wirh 10 of his friends are arriving tomorrow for a day of boating 

Tuesday / Cleaning Things Up

Today has been a lovely summer day -  I have spent half the day doing house chores and cleaning up from our weekend  of guest-  Tasha and her 8 girlfriends came up this weekend to celebrate Jessica Kehl’s birthday-  they were a fun group of friends.  It was nice to enjoy them.  I came home early from education week.  Lori my girlfriend  that went with me came down sick with the dreaded Covd.  She thought she had altitude sickness-  we went to the hospital Wednesday night to make sure she was breathing right- I felt she needed some oxygen-  luckily she was ok - she just needs to rest- this variant that is going around is not as bad.  Just causes fatigue to recover from.  She is doing better- we ended up coming home in Thursday- I wasn’t sure if I would escape it or not? My natural immunity is the best!  I have stayed healthy thank goodness.  Last summer was not good -it really did knock us down fast.  I really did enjoy my two days at education week.  I got back in time to finish cleaning up and getting ready for our weekend visitors.  I spent all day Friday cleaning just in time for their arrival.  It has taken me the past two days to wash sheets and towels- make beds and put things back in order. They were all good at cleaning up after themselves.  It just takes time to fine tune things how I like it and get ready for another group this coming weekend.  Austin and some of his friends are coming. Summer is coming to a close- it is going to be in the 80’s this week which will be nice to keep it going with warmer weather.  I’m teaching in one more week so I have begun my Isaiah study time.  I’m learning so much.  I enjoyed the Isaiah class I took at education week.  

Sabbath Day

Brother and Sister Carter speaking today - they are a new family who has moved in - Loni taught school in Kaysville and our Sharlena was her teaching aid.  We have have been open arms to welcome them in the ward.  They are a really sweet couple - they have 4 married children with 2 grandkids.  Love brothers Carters talk how about how he learned sailing - and when the hurricane wind that came up at Bear lake -he learned quickly how unprepared he was - watching videos is different than actually being in the water -he referred to the old ship Zion talk - how we protect ourselves as compare to a boat - Jesus Christ is at the helm - our ship destination is  to follow the gospel plan - 

Day 2 of Education week

Seeking to have the Holy Ghost in our lives daily - is our personal sanctification- it is the Holy Spirit that purifies us daily - 

Section 84 - learning about the priesthood -  one is the public and one running in our homes  latter day Saint women exercise the priesthood powers and authority - blessing -  renew bodies - thru the oath and covenants - will out last the things in our lives -  

Last class of the day - President Nelson - following the Prophet - recent invitations from prophet - how eager are we to go to the temple?  Counsel to attend the temple - pleading with us to attend the temple - we actually live in the safest place in the world the safest time in history - sympathetic nervous system  kicks in - Faith Or Fear - a lot of us are fearful - 

The more we study the atonement we will grow closer together as spouses - and closer to God -study daily - 

We don’t challenge - we invite us to do the things in the gospel- we are all hypocrites in progress - 

Attending the temple we learn more about Christ- strength from the other side of the veil - how many unseen blessing in our lives ? 

Do we know the temple reccomend ? I really liked this class-

BYU Education Week

Elder Cook our devotional speaker - opening speaker devotional - sustained in 2007 - Give Head to the words of the Prophet -  this year is the 100 yr anniversary of education week - education as a religious achievement - section 93 - truth is indepenant -faith-and knowledge -doctrine prepares an immunity to protect us in the future events - the Book of Mormon - section 1 the lords preface vs -11-  prepare ye for that which is come - hear the voice of his servants - adhere to the commandments of god - there needs to be a moral standard for all to follow - highlighting 5 of the 11 prophets in the past 100 yrs

1922 - Heber j grant - 62 yrs of age - serves 26 yrs and 5 mo.- he highlighted the word of wisdom - a blessing of life - 

The use of alcohol and cigarettes were glorified in advertisements - sec 89 - shall receive great treasures health and spiritually- smokers develop many Heath hazards -  why ahead of the science in this time period - alcohol 1.7 billion kill more than Covid deaths in the world - lives destroys lives - drug culture - vaping - honoring the word of wisdom provide a safe harbor to our lives.

1951 - 77 yrs old became the prophet David O McKay -successful  families - family home evening program - no success can compensate for failure in the home - powers to strengthen a righteous family - family first - it has increased the importance of building a strong family - 

President Nelson - Home center church learning for family - president nelson - allow us to be in the world but not od the world will protect us in our day - seek first to understand , then to understood - 

96% think they are good listeners - really only 10% are good listening is a skill -  unpack what the person is really saying ! 

Religious listeners -  not let the different views escalate-  what do they do ? 

They clear distractions - don’t multitask at the time - 

Genuinely curious of the others point of view - experience good listener - 

They don’t highjack the conversation and do not turn it back on yourself - don’t make it personal - 

Good listener - They are emotionally calm - not combative - don’t make it about us - the more secure we can be the more calm

They ask follow up questions to show they are heard.  

Try to understand a persons fear - hold back - what are you afraid of? Why is that upsetting to you - what are you worried would happen ?

Gods good will - divine assistance how god engages with us - by how we grow - 

Divine and be every hour of our lives - it’s a relationship with god loving with each other-  Christ makes all the difference - he not only makes up the difference- god reaches out in myriads of ways - we can see Grace in our lives we can still God in our lives the differences he

Is making.  We need to love our parents - find a way and not give up hope - try it one more time - this is grace !   The Holy is the enabling power of Grace - Bible dictionary -Grace  enabling power- gods enables us to live thru his power - Kirtland temple - did not keep the savior from coming - he turned the temple into the temple of God - it became holy despite the imperfect - the Grace of God - 

Jesus Christ is full of Grace and truth - he see worth our potential- he know the greatness written in our Spiritual DNA - 

Grace give a the power thru. The atonement.

How do we thrive in the last days - prosper - shine - prevail - progress -instead of feeling like we are just surviving -  the most valiant souls to come to earth now -we have step in the part and understand we are greater than we are - !!

We almost lost our little Cora last week to a drowning at their swimming pool - so blessed she is still with us - she is a joy to all our lives - the cutest little 2yr old ever-

When Love one’s are Gone

Saw this on Facebook and wanted to share in my Blog - When someone is gone, 

you can bring them back, 

for just a little while, 

by talking them into life. 

By painting a picture with your memories and your words, 

breathing their essence back into existence,

for just a few moments.

you can see them again, 

for a minute or two,

By allowing their best traits to filter through you, 

shaping your words, your thoughts and your deeds,

back out into this world.

Craig’s 67th birthday

We had a great birthday party celebration this year.  I planned a big party this year . We haven’t done a friend party since the summer of 2017 when we first moved to the lake full time- the past five summers have gone by so quickly. Two of the summers I was too tired to plan a party entertaining all our family.- we  have been dealing with the dreaded Covid virus the past two years.  This is Craig’s last month conducting sacrament and most likely being released in September from the bishopric - so I wanted to host a fun party this year for all the friends we have made at the lake and in the Ward.  We had a great turn out !! Over a 100 people attended.  Trisha helped me!  She was a huge help.  We worked together for a week preparing.  I did a lake theme. The decorations all turned out so fun!! It was a Wow party- everyone loved it.  I love my dear hubby.  He hasn’t been feeling well all summer.  I wanted to cheer him up and host a big party for him .   We are so blessed!
