April Weekend at the Lake

       We brought Saydee, Karlee & Michael to the lake this weekend.  Saydee completed her certification to drive the jet ski so they are going to brave the cold air and water for April .  It about 60 degree and the water is in the 40's.  Crazy cousins!!

 We're at the Bear Lake Ward today with Michael, Saydee, & Karlee. Today is their Ward conference,   They are calling for missionary at the Paris Tabernacle, they had over 12,000 visitors last year from around the world visit.  That could be a fun calling for us someday, since we love Bear Lake so much!

Jude turn four years old today.  We met them at Café Rio for a birthday dinner.   He is such a sweet little boy.   We bought him a fun dump truck to play with and a pillow that's a storybook.

The Shingles are lingering

It has been three weeks and Craig is still suffering from the shingles.  It is a bad illness.  The rash is starting to look better but he's in a lot of pain still on the left side, very sensitive to touch.  The doctor said it could last for a couple of  months. He's tapering off on his pain pills but still having to take them.  March was a hard month for us with illness.   Hard to believe that it is April now.

I have two topiary trees on our front porch. I've noticed two darling little birds hanging out lately and wondered where a nest was?  I just noticed it today hidden in one of the topiary trees with six little eggs.  It is so cute!! I don't know what kind of little birds they are?  Their so sweet. The daddy has a redhead  and they stay on the trees out in front both mom and dad  watching their nest closely.

Boys slept over for two nights for the Easter break

The Chaudhry boys came over Friday night to sleep over so that they could attend our family Easter egg hunt. Shannon was not feeling up to coming we had a very nice time at the Burbidge home for the day.  They went home Saturday night for their Easter Time on Sunday morning and then they came back Sunday night to have another sleepover, today we've had a busy day.  They took a hike to ghost falls and then we took them miniature golfing this afternoon.  I fixed their favorite dinner Parmesan Alfredo chicken, tuna fish sandwiches for lunch, they love tuna and pancakes for breakfast so we've had a well fed day. It has kept me busy cooking in the kitchen

Trisha invited us over to her house this year and we had our family annual Easter egg hunt Saturday. 
We went over to their house Saturday morning and watched the morning session of  General conference, had brunch and then our family Easter egg hunt.   They found $50 worth of eggs.  We stayed for the afternoon of the conference session,  the kids started playing Monopoly and didn't want to quit so we went and got pizza and stayed for the 6 o'clock priesthood session so we ended up spending the entire day at the Burbidge home we had a very nice Easter this year with the family.  

The Easter Egg Hunt is on it's way!!
