A Day At Home
Winter is here and it is really cold, I didn't want to go out at all today with the cold weather. Craig got up early for work at 6am. I got up and fixed him a good breakfast. I crawled back in bed and slept till 9:35 am. I tinkered in the house and tidy things up. It feels good to have things cleans, I didn't have a lot of cleaning to do today. Which frees up my day to work on my Johnson family history. Trying to get all that I've collected on my PAF files loaded on family search with my notes. There is so much that needs to done and is a time machine. I worked till 3:30pm today. 5 hours that seemed like an hour to me!! I had to take a break, my brain felt like it was on overload with all the information. It feels like it is going to take a 100 years non stop adding all the information. I can't move fast enough adding sources that are online now. It is like magic!! The sources are appearing on going!! I used to spend hours finding one source, it was a very tedious process. Now I can't move fast enough to attach sources to our ancestors names. It is easy to get side track and spend time on other family connecting lines. I have got to refocus to stay on track for our direct family Lines, I find myself bouncing all over!! This is when I get overwhelmed and have to a take break from it all.

We drove over to the car dealership to look at them, but the one he really likes was shipped back east. Craig wants to wait and try to find a good deal on one. He just can't seem to part with his hard earn money!! He has been looking at the corvettes for almost 10 years now but has not pulled the trigger yet!

Today is our first snow for the year, it is not a lot yet, it is really cold, We wanted to go to cabin this weekend but Craig is not feeling well so we stayed home, We have stake conference session tonight and our Temple session fall social tonight, and a surprise party for Chad this afternoon, turning the big 30. If Craig doesn't feel better as the day goes by we will just stay home in our warm and cozy home. With the new snow it puts me in the mood to decorate for Christmas. It is just a little to early to get it all out yet!

A Free Day
With mother gone and nothing on my calendar today, it feels so good to stay home and gets some things done. I'm going to clean my closet and change out Summer clothes for winter. We have had a beautiful fall, the weather is changing fast today and is very cold. Puts me in the mood for Christmas decorating. I just have got to some projects done before I start decorating. With us not having Thanksgiving this year I can decorate early for Christmas this year. It is going to feel so nice to stay home today and tinker in the house. There is always lots to do. Craig is subbing tonight at the temple so I'm going to have the entire day for myself!! That I have not had in over 2 months with my mother here visiting and going to Texas in September it has been a busy life. It feels so good to just slow down a little and have some peace and quite for the day.
Mother Flew Back To Texas
Mom flew back to Texas yesterday. It was a long day for her getting home. The plane was late getting her to Denver. She only had a 54 minute layover just time to change planes. When they arrived in Denver had to reschedule her for a 4pm flight. That flight did not leave until after 6pm she had over a 6 hour wait at the Denver airport. I worried all day for her and felt so bad she had such a long layover. Tried to have things go smooth. It is Crazy we had bad weather in September and it took us all day to get to Utah and then the same thing happened going back to Texas. We won't fly Frontier again!! When she arrived in Dallas she had a 2 hr drive to Canton. She didn't crawl in bed until after midnight, a very long day of travel when it is only a 2 hour direct flight. I tried to get her a one way direct ticket it cost close to $700, that is way too much money. So we had to get a connecting flight out. She says she is driving back this time to Utah. Flying can be stressful when things do not connect on time.

Stacy's Surgery
Stacy gave us all a good scare this week with a surprise surgery on her throat with a three week old baby. Chad is so funny!! "The lesson that we can all learn from this is delivering babies is easier for Stacy than eating edamame beans!! Her throat hurts really bad on Thursday and Friday. I stopped by to help
her out a bit. Got her a milkshake and some soup from Zupas. She has to stay on a soft liquid diet for several days. It has been very painful for her. Chad left for a hunting trip on Friday. Trisha has watched Stacy kids for the past two nights so Stacy had recovery time. I wished I could have helped more with this bad cold I have had stay away from all the family. I did not want to pass it on to them. Stacy had Angela come stay with her on Friday for several hours. They have hired Angela as their nanny to
help Stay with the kids a couple of days a week which she really needs. Saturday Tasha made chicken noodle soup to take to Stacy and spend some time with her, today after church we stopped by to check on her. She is feeling lots better and is starting to eat. We stayed for a while so she could get a few things done. Stacy is looking really good for just having her baby three weeks ago. Chad is going to be out of town until He gets his deer. I will check on her Monday and Tuesday this week. Glad the surgery went well for her. Now she should be able to swallow her food and not choke on it. Her throat has just been to small to swallow her food and she has had this problem for years. They were able to stretch things in her throat this should make it much better for her now and allow her to swallow her food and not choke on it anymore. It has just been to small for too long...
A Busy Week
This has been a busy week with doctor appointment for me and mother. Monday November 8th I had a colposcopy done on my cervical area pre-cancer cell that need to be checked. Tuesday November 9th I meet with a new doctor to have my hormone levels checked and placed a small pellet in my left hip. My levels are all very low. This pellet has the hormones to up my levels and will be released naturally in my body. It is replacing the prescription I was taking for my hormone levels and it was still not helping me. I should lose some weight which would be really nice. Wednesday Stacy had a bean stuck in her throat and had to have surgery. That gave us all a good scare! She suffered all night long and could not swallow. She did not go to the doctor until the next morning. They rushed her into surgery that afternoon to remove the bean stuck and to stretch the small areas in the throat lining. She actually had two bean stuck. Trisha watched her three kids for two days. Craig and I are fighting the cold bug all week. I still have a lot of congestion. Criag rushed to the hospital Wednesday to be with Stacy when she had to have her surprise surgery. She called crying. Chad sent This message to all of us Stacy is out of surgery and doing well. Throat feels a little sore, but Dr says she can leave around 5:30 if she's breathing well. Thanks for all your support!. The lesson that we can all learn from this is delivering babies is easier for Stacy than eating edamame!! What surgery I didn't even know she was having surgery what's going on? She was choking on a bean and couldn't get it out. So they had to go in to scope it out and stretch her throat out. Everything is good she should back home tonight.
