At The Dermatologist
Craig and I drove down to Draper late last night before the winter storm hits. It had already snowed in the Salt lake Valley on Monday. When we arrived we have more snow at our new place than at Bear lake. It has snowed today and is supposed to all day Thursday and Friday. Winter is here!! I’m waiting for my annual appointment. I have several moles I need to have removed. I spent the weekend sorting my Christmas decorations and decorating the cabin for Christmas. When it snows it makes it feel more Christmas. I have enjoyed decorating this year. I worked hard getting things done it all looks so pretty at the cabin. I brought a lot of my Christmas décor down to decorate after Thanksgiving at our new place. I decorate the main level family room last week with what I have. I put out my gold décor that I have not used in many years, things I have collected over the years. It all looks so pretty. I’m really tired today. I have wore myself out decorating. I had to unload the car and put things away that I brought down to our new home. I had the car packed full. I couldn’t fit another thing in. We had our new TV console delivered today for the basement. It looks really nice. We found the piece in the RC Willey discount area. It is really heavy so glad we were able to get it delivered. Dave and Ryan will have to help us figure out how to hook up our TV in the basement. We bought the 80’inch TV from the previous owners. Fun to get things running in our new place . We picked up our new TV for the main level and got it all hooked up last Friday. We have internet now which is really nice. Buck came over and helped Craig get the upstairs TV running. I enjoyed watching a show late last night when we arrived.

Sabbath Day/ November 24th
Brother Lamb gave a very inspiring talk-he is serving as young adult leader in our stake- honoring our Veterans serving in our Country-he told some great some stories- The Savior suffered for all!! Our Savior's love and strength.... brother Woods new in our ward sang a beautiful song and played the piano I need the every hour”. He is the Rich High school music teacher.. his song was so beautiful!! Stake high council brother Assay from Lake town speaking talked about going to Branson for the Christmas show. Putting Christ back into their shows- Bible belt of Missouri. Talked about the absent of the Cross in all our buildings- Christians use the cross- the cross is the symbol of the dying Christ ...our symbol is the living Christ we are the symbol- his people living as Christians president Hinkley said the symbol of our church is us and how we live our lives -Prince of peace - what is Christ to me in my life. Gospel principles has info about the cross —pg 47? I thought his talk was very inspiring, I learned from him more about why we don't have the Cross as our symbol for the Savior as the Christians do throughout the world.

Colonoscopy
Today is the big day to have my colonoscopy procedure. I’m scheduled for 1pm. The clean out is not the fun part. I have to drink 64oz of laxative fluid. I drank the first 32oz last night. I was on a liquid fast all day yesterday. Last night was rough. I had the chills and very nauseous. I was throwing up and having poop coming out at the same time. Not fun at all. I didn’t sleep well. Be glad when this process is over. Craig has an MRI on his knee this afternoon- Today is our doctor day. Things went well. Glad that is over!! The clean out is not pleasant. I had a booming headache. It felt good to eat something after two days of no sold food and taking some Ibuprofen to get rid of this terrible headache. We ran a few errands after my appointment. Trying to get our internet up and running at our new place. Craig was looking for a router to hook up. We are picking up our new TV tomorrow morning that goes upstairs. It felt good to come home and sleep after that ordeal. They did find a polyp that was removed and sent for testing. They will let me now in a week if it shows any sings of cancer. So I guess this is why you have it done to catch the early signs. I’m schedule to have a D&C procedure on the 10th of December and Craig is scheduled the 5th for a knee surgery. He is hoping they can just do a scope and not a knee replacement. That will change our December plans. We need to get our medical things done by the end of the year to meet our medical deductibles.

Saturday/ Craft Day
We drove back to the lake late last night. It was fun shopping with our T-girl and going to lunch with her. It was so nice to have her come right over to our new place and hang out with us for a bit. We are only about 10 minutes apart. She is just west across the freeway from us. She acted like she needed some time with her parents. She helped us figure out what kind of a couch we should buy for our basement. We all went over to RC Willey's and shopped. We order our new couch. She is getting the same one for her theater room. It can be custom fit to the size we need. We also got a TV entertainment piece for our large TV in the basement and a new TV for our upstairs entertainment. Excited for it all to be delivered. I’m really missing my Tasha and wanted to go see her but we didn’t have time this trip. Shannon called several times too and we never did hook up. Tasha called me on my way to the Adult Stake Conference session. She said she is missing her mom. I told her I would make her some elderberry syrup -got to get her feeling better. She has not felt well since she got back from our Texas trip in October. We had our Relief Society supper Saturday Christmas workshop this morning. They are making fun Christmas decorations. I signed up for a Christmas naivety/ made out of wood blocks. It is a lot of steps I didn’t get mine done so will have to finish it at home. Craig woke up early to play Pickleball. So I just got up. I was excited to play with the Christmas décor things I bought at the $store while I was in Draper. I’m decorating for the ward Christmas party again this year so working on and ideas on how to decorate for a large party. I saw the most darling idea on Printrest making Christmas trees out of wrapping paper. I made several last Monday night. I found some fun decors things to add to the trees I made. I hot glued little sparkle balls on all the tops of all the trees I made. I then sat a display on my basement table on batting to look like snow and then added fun tinsel trim with Christmas pines and Christmas balls. It looks really fun. Rose stopped buy this afternoon. I showed her my idea-Displayed on the table. She loves it and wants to use it at the city council members meeting in December. So guess I will run with the idea. I also made a Christmas flower arrangement with fresh pine needles I cut off pine trees in our yard. It turned out really pretty.. I’m making them for the Relief Society Christmas party on December 18th. I love the flower arrangement. I sprayed snow on it and it looks great. I had a super craft morning at home plus I made two yummy apple & peach pies for our craft activity at the church. I didn’t get home until 2pm. Fun to visit with the sisters. I had to take a nap today after waking up early. It was our Adult Stake Conference meeting tonight. I woke up just in time to get ready. It felt so good to be in the Paris Tabernacle and feel of the unity of the saints attending. There were few in numbers for our entire stake yet was a great meeting. They showed us the light of world video the church has put out this year for the Christmas season. It is about the first Christmas story so touching about the birth of the Savior. We need to invited a nonmember in our home this season to share with. the new Christmas movie,
Stake Conference
President Sowthward our mission president gave such a great talk. Stories in the scriptures about boats and their terminology- all abroad, man over board- all hands on deck- love his talk... Logan Temple presidency speaking - Holyness to the Lord in each temple built is placed on the front enterance. Temples are a resure place from the cares and challegnes of the world. We can feel the Lords presence while in the temple- D&C 46 practice ways of holiness. Our bodies are a temple and we should have holiness to the Lord in our hearts. We practice to become worthy, listen to the voice of our prophet and inspire leaders to teach us. We are on the same path. Preparing for the next general conference following our prophet -the temple is the covenant path. Temple president of the Logan temple. Scared experience in serving in the temple. Restoration took place so the temple ordinances could be restored. The entire earth would be wasted at the lords coming. The temple is to prepare us for the second coming as a righteous people..the purpose is not to do a lot of ordinances but to be armed with the power of God. Seeking to be taught in the temple. Let the spirit teach me- hastening the work is not the most important. We are sons and daughters of God we have the potential to become like our savior. The temple will give us power to deal with the challenges of this life. So do the best we can the Savior will bless us where we fall short... Sister spoke about the come follow me lesson as a family. How it is working in her family. How does this lesson apply to my life.! I’m grateful for the program. I have learned so much...brother Passy on the high council next speaker - Quenton L Cook - closer to the lord as we follow the come follow me program. I loved all the talks shared in our stajj KB e conference. We were blessed for being there by the spirit.

Dr Appointments
Craig and I drove down to our new place late last night. We both have doctor appointments today. Craig had a 10am appointment for his knee that has been hurting the past Three weeks and I have another ultrasound today to see if the thickening in my uterus has thinned out any since my last Ultrasound in September. The bleeding has stopped. I was scheduled for a D&C in October but wanted to wait and see if the bleeding lets up which it did but my doctor wanted to do another ultrasound to see if things look any better. I arrived to my appointment early. I had to drink 64 0z of water ahead of time. That is hard for me to hold that much fluid on my bladder. I made it just in time to get the ultrasound done and off to the bathroom!! I haven’t eaten yet today and it is 2Pm. We have nothing to eat at our place yet. I have got to stock our kitchen with some basic food. I was really hungry and got a salad at McDonald's. I have some shopping errands It will be fun to have some shopping time. I bought some green velvet pillows I had been looking online. I found at my favorite place Home Goods. When I got them home they are just not the right color of green for me. We hauled Craig’s old desk down to see how it would fit in his office. It has a lots of pieces. We spent the evening moving things around and seeing how it would look. We would have to have new counter tops made. We went shopping at RC Willey's. We found several things we wanted on our shopping wish list. We we got home we decided we didn’t like the couch we picked out and not sure about a TV entertainment we found for the basement TV. Craig found a desk he really likes so now we are rethinking about his desk. I told him it has served it purpose over the years. We maybe could use it in our storage area when we finish it. It is just to big for our new office and making new counter tops cost almost as much as buying a new desk. When we got home and looked at the basement we decided we don’t like the couch we picked out and that it is not the right fit. It is a little overwhelming. Going to have to rethink this. I need my Trisha girl to help me figure things out for us. I was so tired when we arrived home. I remember Craig watching a movie on my lap top. I was out for the night. Craig woke up early and got up- I got up with him thinking it it was time to get up. It was only 3:30am. I was wide-awake so I started working on putting my Christmas tree together. The lights weren’t working so I had to put more lights on my tree. I was able to finally get it all put together. With us hosting Thanksgiving this year. I wanted to decorate a Thanksgiving Tree theme. I gathered up all my thanksgiving decorations and put it on the tree. It turned out to pretty. I love it. I also put garland on the fire place mantel area in the basement. We have too pretty fireplaces in our new home. It has been really fun to decorate. I got some really fun ideas off of Pinterest. One idea showed hanging a old picture frame and then add a wreath in the middle of it. I have lots of picture frames that worked great fun idea to try this year in my fall décor. I had the tree all decorated and things cleaned up by 9:15 am. Almost 6 hours later I was ready to go back to bed. I crawled in to take a nap. I didn’t sleep long only about an 45 minutes. Just long enough to power me up for the day. I have required very little sleep lately. I have woke up many mornings early and ready to go. Trisha came over to show us how to put together- the storage containers she passed onto us from her old kitchen closet. She doesn't need them with her amazing new kitchen storage closet. It is a dream closet. I couldn't figure out how to put them together. Craig had figured them out by the time she arrived. I took her in our basement to see what she thought and she had great ideas in what sectional to buy at RC Willey. She went with us to help us figure things out. They have already posted their Black Friday sales early in the furniture so we are getting it the best price for the year. We ended up buying the same couch Trisha is getting for her theater room too. It is a beautiful sectional. The nice thing is we can custom fit the pieces to the size we need in our basement. We ended up getting the TV entertainment we picked out, and a new 70 inch TV for the upstairs family room. It will fit great in the new TV entertainment we bought advertised on KSL a few weeks ago. I’m excited for our new furniture to be delivered. They are able to deliver our new tv hutch and TV the day before Thanksgiving. Our new couch is on back order and looks like it will be January before it comes in. We can wait for it. It is a really popular set right now. I love the sliver buttons on it. This will be the last leather couch set we buy in our lifetime. Our new place is coming together. It is fun to shop with my hubby. We were able to put our new furniture on our RC Willey account and finance it for 18 months internet free which is nice we can pay payments. It really helps with our retirement funds. Craig wanted to wait until January to spend any money. So this is working out great for us right now. I need to send more time shopping and figure out the basement bedrooms. Craig made me a fun floating shelf for the laundry room. We got it hung it looks nice - now I need to find some fun things to put on it for our new laundry room. Setting up our home has been fun. We are just doing a little each week when we go down for a couple of days. I’m heading back down this coming week for a colonoscopy on Wednesday. Tasha’s called and said she is still sick and missing her mother. It has been three weeks now. She is very pregnant due January 6th. She asked me about Elderberry juice she heard it helps for illness. I told her I pick a bunch and that I would make her a batch and bring it down for her. Got to get my baby girl feeling better before she delivers her new baby girl.
