Babysitting the Towner kids today

Stacy and Chad are in town for a few weeks,  Stacy asked if I would babysit for her tonight so they can have a date night they've grown so much in the last four months little ferret is crawling all over and she eats so while the boys play so cute together.  Yael is adorable !!  I love to hear him talk.  They are such a joy.

Salt lake temple

I went to the salt lake temple with Ramoma & Sara yesterday.  It is so pretty inside the historical temple dating back over 100 years. I felt such a peace and calming spirit while there.

Nice to be home

We almost an entire week at the lake over the 24th.   It feels really nice to be home I'm so glad that I left the house nice and clean it feels good to come home to a clean house and be able to rest.  I'm really tired from our week at the lake I did a lot of the cooking so I wore me out.  Fun to spend time with Stacy & Chad they arrived late Friday afternoon. Ramona call tonight she's been in town for a week and we haven't been able to hook up yet with me being out of town, she invited me to go to the Salt Lake Temple tomorrow so that will be a fun outing to look forward to.

Sacrament at Bear Lake

Pioneer week a time to honor our ancestors.  Learn how they were brought to the gospel.  Update family histories online for other ancestors to see.  Share history's of our ancestors with our family. Great idea I need to do better in sharing family histories with our family at the lake.  Great idea for next year.

24th of July

Today the big 24th of July hoiliday.  Trisha and Buck arrived last night.   Stacy and Chad are arriving late afternoon today. Tasha & her family are not coming.
.  She has to much to do to get ready to move and is feeling stressed from it all, which it totally understandiable.  Shar & her family are on a trip to Colorado,  Shannon has had a few days here.  She has to leave tonight to pick up Ryan at the airport,  Michael has to work at 1pm tomrrow so they are leaving around 6pm tonight.  I'm fixing a yummy dinner for all the family tonight.   So excited to see the Towner family.  Craig hurt his left knee water sking last night.  He is in a lot of pain today.  Not a good thing for his bad knee from all his surgeries over the years.  He is very upset about his knee right now.  Tough getting older and having our bodies wear out.  Craig doesn't like giving up the things he likes to do.

Made it to the lake

Craig left Tuesday night after Michael got off work.  He took all 4 of the boys.  I stayed home so I could drive up with Shannon.  Craig was really up set Tuesday night when I got home from grocery shopping.  He was up set that Ramona was coming in town for an entire month and wanting to stay at our home with us not there.   He doesn't want to be paying for extra utilities with us not there.  With him retiring he has been very tight in what we are spending,.  This has been an adjustment for me being together 24/7,I have enjoyed our  time together.  I just needed to get some Housework done.   I have not clean well in over a month.  I was feeling stressed out with Craig stressed and irritable. He is still not feeling well from the shingles.  Has lots of nerve pain still.  Every afternoon he gets very fatigued and irritable from the pain, it wears on hiis emotions.  I worked hard for the day cleaning house once I got him and the boys out the door.  Shannon and I Planned on Coming up in the morning Wednesday.   I spent the morning cleaning house.   It felt nice having a few hours to myself to get some good housecleaning done.  Shannon got to our house about 1:30.  She was not feeling well. She has had a bladder infection and just got her Botox treatment so she doesn't always fell well for a Few days afterward. Told her to come to the lake and just rest. We went and had lunch and got pedicures.  My feet were killing me after cleaning house.  It felt good to relax and have my feet rubbed.  We finally headed up to the lake about 4:30 pm. Right in traffic getting out of town and a Rain storm followed us all along the way.  It rained so hard I could hardly see.  We arrived safely finallly.

Hard working day

Today I got up at 7 AM and have put a full day and it's 10 o'clock now and I'm just barely sitting down to rest.   I worked in the yard till noon trimming and weeding and cutting things back before the garbage came to pick it all up.  I meant anchored in the house finishing up my laundry and started cleaning house it was really dirty I still have lots to do still but I made good progress today. In the middle of it all packing and getting ready to go to Bear Lake tonight or in the morning Craigs a little irritable with the situation going on right now.  Shambach we're going out today and then she said then go out tomorrow but now they're not going up till Friday Towner's are driving in from California and won't be there till Friday shod rays are trying to get up there Ryan is out of town so Craig was going to take some of the boys and I'm going to bring Shannon up in the morning Michael has work off tomorrow and Thursday and Friday and then he's got to be back to work on Saturday.  Trying to accommodate everybody schedules is challenging.  Romona flew in town today and she's hoping to come up on Thursday with Sarah and her husband so we'll see Sarah has to work Friday night but she says if she can get it off so we should have a cabinet full by Friday.  It's just a lot funner when everybody can be there.  Really excited for Stacy and Chad to come in town to spend time with the kids I really missed him.  I decided to go out tonight and he's going to pick up the shot the boys and take some of them up with him tonight.  I had to hurry and go to Costco before It closed and do the major grocery shopping it for the weekend. I just barely sat down to eat my dinner and it's 10 PM I'm very very tired.  Craigs irritated that the Burbidge's are not coming up tomorrow. I called Trisha to see if I could bring the girls up with me and Shannon in the morning it's a lot funner for the cousins to all be there to have fun and play with one another.   Not sure what Tosches doing I've been playing phone tag with her all day I know Bridger is out of town and won't be back until Friday they have to start packing and moving out before August 1 so I know she's got her hands full.  One thing I've learned you have to be flexible things are constantly changing in the family trying to get everybody's schedules coordinated is very challenging at times.

Gaga's Birthday Today.

July 20th, is my mother's 79th Birthday today.  She is getting up up.  She is out to lunch with Woody her friend  hope she has a nice day today.  Love my mother!!  Even when she is hard to get along at times.  Thing are going good right now.

Farrah 9 months old this month

Look who is growing up too fast! This sweet ray of Sunshine is now 9 months old and we love her so much! She has been such a happy, easy going baby! She sleeps well for Mommy! Takes a good 3-4 hour nap. She loves to eat her food. She is now eating more solids like steamed veggies and chopped up strawberries and bananas. She does love her Mommy's milk still. She isn't nursing as much now. I feed her 4 times a day. Her new thing is standing up on her own. She is getting stronger! If she keeps this up she will be walking too soon. Stop growing up too fast Farrah!

we miss our little Farrah.  They are coming in town this week for the 24th of July holiday.  They moved in April.  We have not since them all for 3 months.  Can't wait to see the Towner grandkids.

She is now crawling everywhere. Her new cool trick is pulling herself up onto her feet and standing up. She has had too many bonks on the head because of this new trick, she thinks it is fun to stand up and hold onto the chair or bed.

Relief society lesson

Lesson today in relief Society was on marriage and strengthening the family.  This quote was in the manual which I really liked.  I can say the Benson family are very kind and loving family. “Our parents instilled deep feelings of loyalty and love among us children,” son Mark said. “I don’t think that kind of atmosphere is generated naturally in a home, but is encouraged and promoted by a concerned and loving mother and father.”  Quote from teaching of president Benson.
Last week Reed Bensen family had a family reunion at our cabin. He was Craigs mission president.  He is in hospice care right now.  Craig wanted to let them host the reunion at our cabin.  They are so blessed to have a prophet of the lord as their parents.  We are blessed to have the association.  Loved President Bensen as a prophet when he was living.

Shannon and Ryan sold their home

Its been a hard working process for Shannon and I to get her house ready to sell.  Started working on it last year.  They had their home on the market for about a month and it
sold. So glad they will be moving in their new home about the middle of Sept.  Excited for them to move in their new home.  It will be a Good change for them.  Their new house is moving along fast now.

Our Lincoln

Coolest part about this picture is Lincoln thinks his hat is so cool!! Darling picture

Tasha Family pictures

This such a lovely quote Tasha posted on Facebook with their family picture.
Annie one year July 14th, 2015

Give the ones you love wings to fly, roots to come back, and reasons to stay. Love my Tasha and her family so very much.  She is such a great example to all of us as a mother in Zion.
"I guess staying up late is kinda my thing these days! But I really am freaking out that my baby will be one tomorrow!!!! Aniston was such a surprise. And I was terrified to have three babies and be so close in age. But I can truthfully say from the moment she came into our family she has brought more love, peace and joy than I could imagine. She has not once made my life harder by being the third child. She has been such a dream and we all adore her! She has just fit right into all the chaos. Bridge and I always joke "why is our Ani just such a treat!" And I've never seen two brothers adore a sister more. Happy birthday our little Ani Faye! So grateful you chose to come and complete us.

Chores around the house outside

When we woke up we thought it would  be a good working day outside since it's much cooler.  We have lots of chores that need to be done.  Craig is out power washing our stamps cement right now it needs to have a new sealer put on to shine it back up.  It has to be power washed first and then we need to let the cement dry for we can apply the sealer.  After packets at wash were going to go to the compost landfilled and get some bark to spread in our yard it's only $30 for a trailer load were going to go pick up the Shari boys so they can help us spread it in the yard,  we have several large quickie trees that have died and Craig needs to get the chainsaw out and have the boys help him cut those down and cut them up so we have a day job of work ahead of us it's nice to have the weather cooler today,

Play tennis

Trisha called to see if Craig and I wanted to play tennis last night with her and Sadie we checked with our neighbors across the street that have a tennis court they never use and they said we are more than welcome to play there last night, we played for a couple hours and we had a great time, we all need lots of practice.  Sadie's taking tennis lessons so it's fun to play with our granddaughter afterwards we went and had yogurt at the U swirl yummy !!

Working on my Scrapbooking.

This morning I have some time to work on my scrapebooking.  I started scanning pictures for our family in 2004 and working on volume two of Craig's retirement book.  I'm going visiting teaching at noon today.  I have a new sister to visit teach.  Sister Hagen.  She is the Bishop's wife in our ward.  I need to reach out to her and support her as the mother of our ward.  This is a great responsibility for me to look after her and her families needs.   Pray I can be in tune with her and needs this day.  later today I need to take Michael to work.  Nice to stay home this morning and work on my projects.  Where have the past 10 years gone?  We are so blessed as a family.

Our grandson Michael

Michael is working full-time at chuck A-Rama right now he called last night after work and asked if he could come sleep over at our house we haven't seen him for over a week and a half and he was missing his grandparents.  Craig went and picked him up at work. he slept over and I'll need to take him to work today later around 3 PM.  We love our Michael boy, nice to spend time with him.  He cut his finger really bad on Monday at work he probably should've had stitches; Shannon wasn't real happy about it that he didn't tell her more in detail when she cleaned it yesterday she saw how bad he had cut it and that he really should've had stitches. Michael doesn't complain he is a tough kid.  It will heal but it's going take longer to heal and he's definitely going to have a bad scar on his finger.

Craigs planning meeting today

Craig  left this morning early for his NAHU planning meeting today.  He's been stressed out over the past three days working and getting things together.  He is the president this year and it is a big responsibility for him I pray that things will go well for him,  I feel like he's well prepared and that he will have a good planning meeting today.

Our Family Drama

My conversation with Shannon was long and stressful.  I talked to Craig about the situation last night.   We didn't know that Shannon had sold her home yet when Bridger called.  We felt it was ok to help their family for a transition time.   I told Shannon not to be upset and waste her energy on this.   She should be excited that they have sold their home.  Sigh of relief.   I have worked hard to help them get to this point.  Getting her house up for sale has been a lot of work.  I told her things will work out.   I mention that Stacy & Chads home maybe could be an option for them to stay in when the time comes.   She is going to give them call.   I know things will work out.  Shannon just thinks she has corner on the market will her parents.  We are just trying to keep peace & harmony in the family.  Things are ready tense from what happened last year with the Thomas family.  Shannon has just got to let this go somehow and not let this cause drama in our family any longer. In the middle of all of this transition with the Thomas the Chaudhry families,   Ramona called and said she's coming in on Tuesday to stay for an entire month.  We are going to end up having a house full of family and friends.  I'm not worried about it I know things will work out just have to be flexible with our schedule. Shannon needs to lighten up to not worrying about everything.  Last Thursday  Trisha took me to look at a house that they found in Bluffdale, they're thinking of buying and possibly making an offer, so our entire family is in somewhat in a transition right now. Craig and I are even wanting to put our house up for sale, we just haven't done it yet because of all the stuff going on with our kids, it's not good timing for us right now.  Things will work out.

R & R today

Yesterday I had a Chiro appointment at 12:30 and then from there I went to a massage appointment. So was nice to get a little R&R !!  My muscles in my neck are getting really tight and my shoulders and it felt good to have a massage,  felt sooo good to be pampered.   After my massage appointment I stop by to see Shannon, she wasn't there but only Landon was, so Landon and I went to see their new house and it's progress is coming along it's so exciting, he was hungry and I was hungry too so we went and had a late lunch at McDonald's together, some grandma time, he such a cute little guy.  When I dropped him off Shannon was home from taking Michael to work.  Shannon was upset, drama again in the family.  Tasha & Bridger sold their home like five months ago we had hoped that they would've found a home by now and have bought something by now.  Well that hasn't worked out, they have to be out of their house by August 1st.  Last week Bridger called and asked if they could move in with us temporarily until they find a home Craig told him that would be Ok, so in the next couple weeks they will be moving in with us unless they find a home in the middle of that two week window.  Shannon and Ryan have had their house up for sale and they got an offer on their house this weekend she told me that they would be closing on August 18th and that their home is it projected to be completed around 18th of September so they're going to need a place to stay for about a month.  She's upset because we told her they could come stay here for a transition If needed.

The weather was perfect.  Annie is so fun to watch.  She had the most darling birthday cake.  It was a small white cake with white sparkles on it and fresh flowers.  We gave her a riding car and a new baby doll.  She loves her car and her  doll.  We all had a great time gather as family.

Sacrament at Bear Lake

Family history work will make us happy as we strive to search for our ancestors and complete the work at the temple.  We will be blessed and protected against the influences of Satan and his followers,

Sister Nielson. apostle's wife asked how many tribes of Israel were in the congregation to stand and found there were all 12 tribes represented over seas conference.  This is amazing to hear!!

Get to know something about our ancestors and add on family search the information found.  Write about You.. a personal history and add on family search.    We had great sacrament meeting.  Craig and I had to miss sacrament the past couple weeks.  It felt so good to renew our covenants and be in church today.  I really enjoyed the comments made in the meeting.  The theme was on family history.  This is a topic that I love and have a strong testimony of.  I'm trying to do my part in finding ancestors and doing their temple work.

Baby Sit Thomas Kids

I baby sat Tasha's kids yesterday afternoon.  They are so cute.  Tasha & Bridger need to be out of their home by August 1st.  They have not had any luck securing a home on the auction yet.  They asked if they could move in with us until they can find a house.  We are going to have our hands full if they move in with us.  Baby Annie is so cute she is turning a year old on July 14th.  The year has gone by so fast.

Heading to the lake today

We're heading back to Bear Lake today.  We just got home Monday night and now we're heading back on Friday morning.  We have some little stowaways  Karlee,Sadie, & Boston.  We're picking up Aubrey on the way.  Craig's mission president and his family came up Monday afternoon and stay through yesterday so we want to go up and check on things and make sure everything is ok and see how they left it.  First time letting someone else use our cabin other than family, so it makes me a little nervous, I hope things went well for them.  Weather has cooled off this week with all the rain we've gotten it feels really nice, so it will be a cooler weekend.

Working on Craigs Retirement book

I got a good start on Craig's retirement book while he was out of town.  Got vol 1 completed.   I'm now working on vol.2.  Fun to gather up his awards and pictures over the years.  Fun to have it in one book instead of all scattered.  I still have lots to do in working on my other family scrapbooks too.  I had stated working on scanning our family pictures.  I need to get back to it.   Need to work on 2004 next,  I completed 2003 & 2005 skipped 04.  I need to scan the family pictures I have for that year.  I will work on it some today.

Huge Rain storm

Our weather is very different this year.  June was a crazy hot month.  Now that July is here we are getting lots of rain.  Last night was Huge rain storm.  Feels good to cool off and get rain.  Great for the yard!!  My flowers look great.

Michael is workiIng at Chuck-a-Rama. He is 16 now & working, hard to believe!! Craig and I went and had dinner there tonight, to see how he's doing. He looks so handsome in his dress shirt and black pants.  We ate too much !!  Yummy !

Worked out this morning

I got my Pilates CDs out this morning.  I really want to tone up, I've slowly been losing weight,  I weighed 158lbs this morning, I'm just so glad I'm below the 160 lb Mark I didn't gain over the Fourth of July weekend yeah!! Trisha has been faithful for the past two months working out and she has lost 20 pounds she looks really good and toned.  Motivates me to do better,  so I tried doing a 20 minute workout I'm way out of shape but it felt good to work on toning my midsection.

Nice to be home

Feel so good to be home after the Fourth of July weekend at the lake, it's raining today which is so nice after all these hundred degree days.  I worked in the yard yesterday for a little while and finally got my hair colored!! I was three weeks overdue. We drove out to Shannon's last night about 9 o'clock and didn't get home till 12:30 pm.  Letting my hair grow out, I couldn't believe how much Gray!!!  I had about 3 inches of overgrowth.  Feels good to have it colored again, I'm not ready to go gray.  Craig has a luncheon today for the Health Association.  He is officially the president as of July 1st, will serve for the next year,  he's in charge of conducting today.  So I'm just hanging out here at  the house, think I'll go get a pedicure, my feet are looking a little rough, they get so dried out at the lake.

Our Fun Family 4th of July

We had such a great 4 days at the Lake.  It was the perfect weather.  We had the hottest June on record several weeks in the 100's so this made the lake water really warm this year.  Noriega Family, Burbidge Family & Thomas family were able to share the holiday with us at our family cabin.  We love our new cabin.  It accommodates the entire family so well.

The 4th of July Weekend

Grand mother Debbie holding baby Farrah

Craig got home about 9pm last night from his flight.  It was late getting in due to a Topical storm.  He was really tired after traveling all day. He is so glad to be home!  We went to bed early and watch Gray's.  My dear husband was very sexually aggressive.  He was missing me.  We had a pleasurable evening together. We got up at 7am to go to our Chiro appt.  We were out the door early.  It has been an all day process of getting to the lake.  We finally arrived at 6:50 pm.  We had lots of errands along the way.  We picked up two of the Chaudhry boys, Jaxon & Landon.  From there we went home to pack up the boat and head out. We had to pick up a prescription for Craig,  he is not feeling well.  Has something going on with his throat. From there to the sign store to pick up two little signs I had made for taking our shoes off at lake. We then went to the boat awing store to pick up some bolts, from there we drove to Bountiful to pick up Bridger.  He needed a ride up to the lake he just flew in this morning from Texas.  Tasha went up to the lake last night.   We stopped at the Browning outlet in Morgan,  had a late lunch in Evanston,  grocery shop at Walmart and bought  fireworks for our 4th of July show.  We had picked Bridger up at 1:30pm.  5 hours later we finally arrived.  We had a good visit with Bridger on the way up.  We joked that it had taken us so long to get to the lake.  Normally it only take about 2 1/2  hours,  all the stops along the way took us longer.  We unpacked fast and ready to put the boat in.  Just as we were getting ready to pull out,  Uncle Scott & Jan stopped by,  Scott pulled out in front of a truck heading south on the highway going 50 mile per hour pulling a tailor, he had to quickly move to the wrong side of the road heading head on into another car pulling a tailor heading north.  The car heading north went off the road with puling a swiveling tailor.  Bridger had to get his truck to pull him out.  Gave us all a good scare!!  Scott & Jan are very blessed to not be hit,  it would have been fatal.  We had a great weekend.  The weather was perfect.  It was great for Boating.  Trisha & Buck bought a new boat they enjoyed it over the week.  Everyone was there except the Towner family in California,  Ryan was on call and Michael was working at his new job.  We had 12 grand kids there.  I was beat when they all left.
