Moving Chaudhry family & moving in with us has been a lot of work. It has wore is out.  Feels good to be in sacrament.
What is my purpose in life? Follow the savior and live the gospel of Jesus Christ.    Talked about the blessing of the priesthood in our lives.   Sons of Mosiah,
Love priesthood leaders,  Believed in God and risk their lives,  they are humble, fathers that would not break their covenants with the lord to go to battle,  they took actions,  they were physically fit they applied what theirs mothers taught them ,  following the duty of God program,  they knew the gospel . To love God and that God loves them.  This strengthen us thru priesthood power to build the kingdom of God,  apply the power of the priesthood in our lives,

Cleaning house & Laundry

I was beat from my work in the yard yesterday.  I stayed and clean house and did laundry.  I have spent the day working.  It is 6pm and I've put a full day in.  It feels good to have the house clean and tidy and all the laundry done.  It is more work for me with the Chaudhry family here.  I'm enjoying the time they are here.

Hard working day

Yesterday I worked hard in the yard, digging out infected sod and replacing with new sod.  It was a back breaking job.  Craig started the job last Thursday.  He hurt his knee and had not felt up to the task.  I spent the entire day in the yard.  It was raining and felt good to have a cooler day to work in.  It has been really hot.  I worked hard and I was beat by 3pm.  I had gotten so dirty!!  Had to come in and take a shower and get ready to baby sit Nixon the neighbor boy. He was going to play with Landon but he did not get home in time So it was Nixon and I for an hour riding bikes and going to the park.  He is a sweet boy and good friend to Landon while he is living here.

Sweet Letter from Trisha

Trisha wrote me a very sweet letter while she was at youth conference this year with our Saydee bug.  Trisha is serving in the Young Women's Presidency as a counselor.  I really appreciate the kind word from her.

Busy week moving

This has been a very busy week helping the Chaudhry family move.  I worked really hard Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Thursday helping them get things packed up and out of the house it was a lot of work for all of us, they made three trailer loads to their storage unit and Thursday we were able to finalize things and get them here for the night.  It was a race against the clock to get everything done Thursday morning we needed to clean we had everything pretty much out needed to have it cleaned by 1 o'clock I was able to call Telma my Mexican lady that cleans and she had three friends that could come and clean for us for three hours..  It was a lifesaver there was no way Shannon and I were going to get that all done in three hours, it took us three hours just finishing up what we did and all three of them working too, we meet our time schedule!!  It was a huge Sigh of relief,  bittersweet for Shannon she got emotional saying goodbye to her home that she has been in for 14 years.  They have been growing years for their family hard to believe that they had lived in their home over 14 years Alec was just a baby when they moved in.  Their onto a new chapter in their lives. We went over to see the new house and it's progress and it's coming along so nicely so excited for them to be in a new home.  They will be staying in our home for about four weeks and then we have to move everything out of their storage.  We are also tired it has been a lot of work!!!

Our last Day

Time to head back home.  We have had a very nice trip.  We wanted to get on the lake with our see-doo's but a storm rolled in with extreme winds we were not able to get on the lake.  Hoping today that the wind would die down but it is too windy today and a lot cooler.  We did ride  a boat over this morning to see the beautiful golf course with the floating green and had breakfast.  It is so beautiful here, the flowers are so beautiful  !!  Love the beds full of the red germanin's,    Time to go home.

Monday morning

It's raining this morning!!  Feel so nice to have rain we've had such a mild July this month had lots of cool weather and more rain than we normally again things are pretty and green right now.  Not sure what we're doing today Tasha asked that I babysit her kids for a few hours this afternoon so I'm sure all of the cousins  will have fun playing with one another and probably go out to lunch.  It's family night so I might think about planning something special for the little kids some type of a lesson.  Need to look in the Ensign this month and see what there is for ideas.

Sabbath Day

Today was a nice day at church, Fast Sunday. We were able to go to our ward. We haven't been there  for quite a while it felt nice to socialize with our ward members.  With the summer season here we have been going to church at Bear Lake with our grandkids.  I had to get up and share my testimony.  I was baptized in the church at the age of 12 years old on July 28th 1968- 47 years ago. as I reflected upon my baptism and all my many blessings my heart began to pound and I felt like I needed to share my testimony.   So grateful for my membership at the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.  Our lives have been so blessed because of the many blessings striving to live the gospel and now watching my daughters participate is a great blessing to see them raise their families and the gospel as well.  I told them that I now have 17 grandchildren, nobody can believe that, I guess I look kind a young for being a granmother.  After church are able to come home and have a nice dinner and just visit and relax fun to visit with Stacy and her kids, little baby Farah so darling right now, she's all full of smiles,  Stacy gave up her home so the Tosha and Burger could live in until they find a house I feel bad for stacy right now because I know she probably feels lost without having her home right now.  I have a early moved out she had all her furniture and all her things there they took very little when they move to California for the summer. Their planning on moving to California which we're not really excited about,  Stacy will be in town till next week so I want to spend as much time with her as I can.  Going to have to divide my time with her and Romona this week it's a very busy time

Saturday moving day

Tosha and Bridger are moving today Greg and I went out about 9 o'clock to help them and ended up staying all day had no idea would be there so long they needed lots of help.   She had all her basement packed with boxes Bridger went and got four Mexican guys and pay them by the hour and they loaded our trailer twice with all the things that they had to put it in storage our third load by 3  pm we were all so tired.  We all had to push to keep going .  Still has to load all their clothes and all the things that were left in the house that she needed to take over to Stacy's and that . they couldn't fit in the storage there were lots of odds and ends left.   By 5:30 we were able to say quits for the day.  You are starving I had not eaten all day so we went to Saddler's and had a nice dinner.  Then had to drive the third trailer load to Stacy and Chad's house and leave it on the driveway so virgin and Tosha get unloaded there.  We got home about 8 PM I was so tired I had to go take a hot bath I fell asleep in the tub soaking my feet by 1130 close to midnight heard the baby.  Stacy decided to come stay here she was going to the Towner's house for the weekend but decided she'd rather hang out with us and be all alone over there they were out of town for the weekend.   But I'm glad that she came here to show only be here one more week and then she'll be going back to California so we can spend time with her and the kids.   We have a houseful again with Stacy and her three kids and Ramona staying here now.

Friday

Romona came here on Thursday.  Her daughter and her husband left for a family reunion so she's going to be staying here for the rest of the week.  Earlier that day. And I went on the 17 mile bike ride we rode on the Murdoch trail along the river towards Pleasant Grove along the mountains it was a beautiful ride I had fun.  Remount I got here about 430 I was really tired from our bike ride to take a hot bath and clean up and then we all went out to dinner to Applebee's was fun to visit.   Friday we got cleaned up and spent the afternoon going to the Salt Lake parade it was fun to see homes everything so modern right now it's not really my taste.   I love to see a home that has been nicely decorated them put together well it's fun to see how things come together.   Craig and I had Steve and Jill Mcpherron's wedding to go to their last son getting married to Robin they will be officially empty-nesters now.  We've been empty-nesters since 2009 technically but we've had a lot of family in and out since then.  After the wedding reception we came home and changed her clothes and drove out to Shannon's house to see how his progress it was all she wrote this last week so it's coming along so quickly .  We needed some scrap sheet rock to repair some of the things around here so we grab some scrap saw you were there.  Excited for Shannon and Ryan in their new home.
