Blessed Sabbath Day

It was a rush to get everything ready for the blessing luncheon, get Myself and Craig ready for our family pictures.   I told each family to dress in their Sunday best and we would take pictures right after Sacrament.  It was a fast sitting with all the family so I hope we get some good pictures.  I'm anxious to see how they turned out.  Chad gave baby Enzo a beautiful blessing.  Enzo is a beautiful baby right from heaven added to our family tree.  I love each of our grandchildren so very much.  We had a great time gathering as family afterward in our back yard for lunch.  Everything turned out very nice.  I was so glad I made the effort.  Stacy was not planning on doing much, because they are living with Chad's parents.  All the Towner family were all getting ready to leave for Lake Powell later in the day.   She did not want to make a fuss about the blessing.   I told her not to worry, Just come to our home.  I would be able to make the arrangements in hosting at our home.
Every thing turned our lovely.  It has been a lovely beautiful fall sunny day.  This will most likely be our last family gathering in our home of 12 yrs and I wanted to make it special for all of us to remember.

Enzo Baby Blessing Event

Towner Family, Chad's Parents on Enzo Blessing Day.
Stacy called me yesterday to let me know they were thinking about last minute blessing Enzo this weekend, it will probably be the only time they can get it done before they move to California. They have been living with the Towner's since June 7months longer than Stacy ever thought they would have been there.  I wanted to bring them to our home, but with us selling it was not a good time.  Stacy, bless her heart has made do.  I know that it has been very challenging for her. I have really wanted to have a family picture made before they move.  With that thought in mind I really want to get the family all together, we haven't had a family picture since 2011.  Our family has grown so much since then, we have six new grandchildren.  So at the last minute we are going to have a family gathering here at our home after church tomorrow and try to get a family picture.  I have a lot of work to do to get ready today for the special event.  I need to tidy our house, go grocery shopping and set up tables outside on the patio.  It is going to be a pretty sunny day and will be nice to host it outside this time of year.  I want to make it special for the family.  Trisha brought over her tables and chairs and white table clothes for me to use.  I going to buy some white fresh flower at Costco to put on the buffet table and guest tables.  We should have about 40 for our luncheon with our family and Towner family attending.  I've got to race to get it all done!!

Our Partnership

Buck, Trisha and Craig have been looking at a new boat. They decided to go into a partnerships. Taylor boating offered us 32,000 for our boat, Craig sold our wave runners for about $15,000 so in the partnership we won't have to come up with much money on our end.  Craig and I stopped by Taylor boating when I got back in town to show me the boat they were looking at.  It is really pretty. They had it all cleaned up and it looks like the deal is final as of this Friday.  It's a pretty white and metallic silver boat. Time to say goodbye to our plum crazy, we bought the boat in 2003 and it has been a really fun boat for our family.   The partnership will be nice, saves us money and we can all have a nicer new boat to share.  We are trying to consolidate our material belongings.  This open space up for us in our lower garage at the Lake, so we will have room to store things there and not rent a rental unit in our moving transition.  Look forward to taking our boat out this coming summer.

Offer On Our Home

Craig called me while I was in Texas Tuesday night to let me know that we received an offer on our home. We countered offered to 890,000 and they excepted our counter offer. We had it listed at 950,000 so we've actually lowered it 60,000.  We have an inspection scheduled for Monday afternoon, the closing is scheduled for November 19th if everything goes wel,l the sale is contingent upon the sale of their home, they just put their home up for sale, so we will see if it all works out.  It is emotionally really hard for me, I still love our home.   I know I'm going to be really sad when we move because we have been very happy here. We just want to get something more smaller and manageable.  The practical aspect is it is a lot of work to keep up with two homes.  I think we will just moved to Bear Lake until we figure out our transition, we know we want to go on a mission. We will begin a new chapter in our lives.

Driving Mom Back To Texas

My mom and I left last Saturday morning about 11am to drive her back to Texas. September 17th.  She needed to get back for a doctors appointment on the 28th and this was my only weekend that I could get her there and get back in time to babysit for Stacy and Chad while they go to Lake Powell on September 26.   I wanted to attend our first season BYU game with my hubby since our kids had gotten season tickets for us this year as a Christmas present.  The game didn't start till 8:15pm Saturday night, we wouldn't be home till after midnight which would make it really hard for me to get up early and drive to Texas all day on Sunday.  It was going to be a quick trip. I'm just driving her there and flying back two days later on a Wednesday.  So I just decided to leave Saturday and give me an extra day to travel.  Shannon and Ryan went to our cabin for their wedding anniversary this weekend so we were babysitting the boys.  Craig took Jaxson with him to the big BYU game, they lost!!! Craig say's they just don't have a very good defense yet.  Well I drove 10 hours both days Saturday and Sunday.  Mother literally talk the entire time again!!  She talked all the way here both days and all the way both days home, I really don't know how a person can talk so much.  We arrived to my brother Tommy's home Sunday night at about 10:30 I was dead tired!!  We hung out at Tommy's house for two days and visit with the family in the evening it was fun to spend time with their family it went by really fast though.  I didn't take any pictures I just haven't been very good lately about taking pictures.  Wednesday morning I had just enough time to get up and pack, get mom packed and in the car because she was heading to her house, she drove me to the airport and dropped me off and headed home to Canton, which was about two hours away.  Driving in Dallas is crazy!! You have the spaghetti bowl freeway with roads going everywhere. Sure glad mom has her Onstar GPS, it just talks us wherever we need to go, it is really nice especially down in the Texas area.  It was sure nice just to jump on a plane and be home it a couple of hours, take a little nap and be back in Utah.  It was a quick trip, it sure feels good to be home!!
Cute picture of my Mamma on her birthday in July we had a good time while she visited this summer

Craig Bike Riding

Craig & I drove to Bear lake last night to sleep over.  Fall is here!!  It is such a pretty time of year. The leaves are turning fast this year, a few weeks early.  The Lodajo bike race is this weekend.  It is a 200 mile bike race from Logan to Jackson Hole Wyoming.  Craig's best friend Richard is riding in a relay. Craig wanted to join in and so I drove him to Montpelier Idaho it's about a 50 mile ride from there to Afton Wyoming.  I passed him along the way and now I'm waiting in Afton Wyoming.  I have about an hour & 45 minutes to wait for him. There is the smallest temple here.  It should be opening soon.  It is the first temple in Wyoming.

Labor Day Weekend

We are heading to church for the last weekend of the summer season at Bear lake.  None of the kids and their families were able to come up,  they are all back in school.  My mother is still here with us just forgot to bring any church clothes.  It is packed.  We are sitting at the very back on the stage.  It is like a stake conference with so many people.  We are so blessed to attend church and feel the spirit of so many saints. Trying to do better in honoring fast Sunday.  We have gotten lax in our summer activities.  Feel's good to be in sacrament today and renew my baptism covenants, worship the Lord with all your might, mind, and strength, and your whole soul; and if ye do this ye shall in nowise be cast out,  I Fasted for our Michael that he will have the desire to serve a mission.  He needs to prepare.  Pray that he will have the faith to put in action, to build his testimony.  Pray we can be encouraging to him as Grandparents to share the gospel message with him.  Stacy and Chad arrived later to spend a day with us at the Lake.  We had a nice dinner with the Biesinger side of the family, our annual event in eating and visiting with Craig's cousin's at the Lake.
