Working Hard

It felt good to get in the hot tub tonight and just relax a little, we have to get up early in the morning, I have a doctors appointment tomorrow morning in Salt Lake City at 11am, so we need to be out the door by 7 AM tomorrow,  Michael came and spent some time with us this last weekend he arrived Friday afternoon he started throwing up Friday night and was sick all day, Saturday laying around felt so bad for him, Sunday he felt a little better and went to church with us today, we have worked hard moving things around in the lower garage, we needed Michael's muscles to help lift the heavy stuff. Shannon had carpet laid in their basement today Alec and Michael are anxious to have their bed rooms set up in their new rooms downstairs, we had to move stuff out of the lower garage in order to get the mattresses loaded in the trailer, we had a lot of stuff to move around and it was heavy and very tiring, we ended up with a trailer load to take down tomorrow for the Chaudhry family.  We are slowing weeding our belongs out, giving things to our children as they need it.  Craig and I are both so dead tired I can hardly move, my back is just killing me, it's really acting up right now lifting and moving things around is really hard on me.

Another Busy Week

We have had another busy week, two days at wrestling tournaments, Tuesday and Thursday all day long.  Wednesday it feels good to be home today can't believe it's already Friday it rained for two days all day Wednesday and Thursday, the sun is out today and it feels really good, I want to go tinker out in the yard, there's so much that we want to do out there, but it is still on the cool side. The sunshine does feel really good I'm sure it will warm up as the day goes by. Wednesday night I attended our relief society birthday celebration in my new the Garden City ward, starting to get to know some of the sisters in my new ward love the fellowship of the Saints.  I also started serving at the Family History Stake center in Montipeller this week.  I have a 30 minute drive one way.  They have no one from the Garden City area to serve at the library.  I'm so grateful to to help out.  I love working on family history.

Wrestling Tournament

We drove down yesterday morning to attend the final wresting tournament for the Northern division for Cole, he took first in the Southern division and now he's in the state quarter finals it was a long day watching and supporting him, he placed fifth in the Northern division he had some tough  matches. we're so proud of our Cole, we arrive home late with our drive home.  Cole is very competitive!

My Christian Friend

Shirley and Billy are such sweet Christian friends, their neighbors to my mother in Texas, they are so loving and kind in taking care of her, mother couldn't stay there at her home without such great neighbors, Shirley posted  a sweet story on Facebook that I had to copy it in my blog-  'The power of prayer'     Sounds......electric doors, cell phones, babies crying, wheels turning, televisions , jumbled conversations, intercoms, names being called, printers clicking, snoring, apologies, key boards clacking, nice greetings, machines whirling, Drs. speaking, nurses comforting but, the saddest words behind a curtain.....your baby is not viable, we have to take you to surgery.....footsteps of Dr. leaving....bursting through that curtain Lori and I both said at the same time....."pray for her"
In that moment of "can we pray for you" hands held together stretcher, to me, and stretcher.....we prayed, we cried, and we made a new friend Lauren......a young fair hair beautiful tearful almost mother to be and her tearful young husband.....she will be forever remembered...we know God put her beside us behind that curtain, that the Doctor spoke loud enough for these old ears to hear and God blessed us in the mist of tragedy by just being bold enough to speak His name.
God bless you Lauren, may we meet again with all
the babies in your future.

Thank your Lord for your grace and mercy and speaking through us....we are blessed....your timing is always on time...
