Craig 69th Birthday

It has only been a week since Craig's surgery.  He is doing really good.  He just has to pace himself not to over due. Craig had a full day celebrating his 69th birthday- Where have the years gone? He has been recovering from his gallbladder surgery.  He is doing really well considering it has only been a week.  I’m sure he has been over doing it.  He doesn’t slow down.  Life doesn’t let us slow down.  Sharlena left Tuesday- she was here for a week.  Nice to spend time with our oldest daughter.  We enjoyed spending time with their family on the weekend and then Shar stayed a few days longer to work on her homework- to get a few classes completed online before Aubrey arrives home from her mission next week.   Landon has stayed a week here at the lake helping grandpa, which we have needed his help.  We found jobs for him to do all week so he could earn some $ for school clothes.  He starts back this coming Thursday.  He will be a junior in high school.  We have needed his help.   Wednesday- we hosted our YSA boating party at our place.  We had a great turn out.  About 4o showed up. Our numbers are shrinking as they leave from their summer jobs- going back to school and home.  It was a fun party- I had Thursday and Friday to clean things up- Thursday I drove to Logan to pick up sealer for our new driveway- and did some shopping for Craig a birthday present.  I enjoyed a few hours of shopping time- I checked out the new Homes Goods in Logan and TJX’s - bought a few new things for Halloween this year- love hosting a cousin Halloween family party- I was able to find Craig two nice golf shirts and shorts with some new socks- I went to Big Lots that is closing out-to shop for things I needed at the lake- I was gone 5 hours by the time I drove there and back-  it is a 50 minute drive one way-  Friday Natasha and 7 of her girlfriends arrived for the weekend for a girlfriend retreat- they bought a new 25 foot  boat. Natasha drove it up excited to try out their new family boat.  We all had a fun day boating.  It is really nice boat costing $ 200,000.00 plus - they are enjoying Sunday and then having to all head back home.  Craig pulled them surfing  and learning how to use their new boat. 

Happy Birthday My love, 69 years old, only one more year and say good-by to the 60's he has enjoyed the past 10 years of retirement  time at the lake.  Bear Lake is his favorite place to be.
