Craig Sick

Craig has been sick since our family gathering on December 27th.  We were exposed to many family members sick.  He started feeling better in time for our trip to Arizona and felt well enough to enjoy our time there but has had a relapse in his symptoms on our way back on the 10th.  We had a nice time in warmer weather the  low 60’s- we made our trek back to the lake- 7 hours from Arizona to St George arriving at 1am in Ivan’s -  we stopped by to see the Burbidge family on Friday morning-  they are doing well and enjoying their new home. They love the warmer weather.  I hated to leave- Craig wanted to keep going we had another 7 hour drive back to the lake. St George is a halfway point in our journey.  We grabbed lunch at In-N-out and on the road by noon.   I would have liked to stop at our Draper home but Craig kept going-  we arrived at the cold winter lake at 7 pm Friday evening.  It was nice to come back to a clean home.  I had Karen Barlow one of our YSA sisters clean for me.  I tired to do what could before leaving town-  it felt so good to have it clean.  I still need to put away Christmas decor-  I’m in no hurry. I love my winter Christmas decor and leaving it up longer-  wish my hubby felt bettter. He has felt terrible since we returned. I took him to the new medical center here at the lake. today.  The doctor prescribed a new antibiotic for 10 days.  He has not felt well for three weeks.  He woke up early this morning very nauseous and threw up- he is very 🤧 sick-  taking care of my hubby. We planned to leave tonight to drive down to the Salt lake valley.  Norma Gygi died Friday morning. Her viewing is tonight and her funeral is tomorrow at 11am.  Don’t know if we are going to make it with Craig sick.  Got to get him feeling better.  I’m heading out to attend our YSA activity tonight- we are taking a tour of the progress of the Montpelier Temple.  I’m looking forward too.  I have worked on the YSA Branch history Sunday afternoon  and Monday till late evening.  Yeah!  I’m all caught up!  Going to try to record my entries the day of the event and work on it Sunday- so it will not be such a huge task over time- it gets over whelming to recall the past events and takes a lot of time to record.  It takes pockets of time to fullfill this calling as the YSA branch historian.  My task now is to go thru my 2024 blog enteries and upload my photos and edit content for the year.  My blog app on my phone is not working to upload my photos from my phone.  This adds a burden of time to have to review and go back through the year.  Also the blog 2 print company I have worked with the past 10 year went out of business.  I’m going to have to take the time to figure out a new printing company and blog app that will work on my phone.
